I just stumbled over this super-old picture of me. I was 22 I think (1994).
Awww, I really like the style I had back then. So cute! And with my princess crowns as usual <3
(sorry about the nipples showing, but I am Swedish *haha*)
I hope there's nothing wrong in liking an old picture of oneself?

I'm at Perez Hilton
Sweet people at Facebook told me I'm on Perez Hilton apperently?
I think I scared him bad!
I can sure see it's american people commenting since they are so rude and narrow minded. There is miles between our societys (now I'm not talking about the wonderful goths or other alternatives in USA, but "normal" people). I'm very happy to live in a country that is more openminded.
(I'm sorry about that comment, I know there are lots of wonderful open minded "normal" people in America too. But when I say "normal" I usually talk about those who think they are the norm and can't accept anything else.)
But I laughed at many comments :)

Guests today
Today my dad and my extra mom came for a visit. Me and mom Beda went out on town to shop and went back just in time for dinner. A very smart decision!
When they first arrived we had some tiramisú
the kids had one without alcohol of course
Then we had lemon and honey marinated salmon and shrimps with basil, potatoe gratin and bean and ruccola salad with avocado, leek and dijon for dinner (forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry). My dad ate so much his tummy hurted!
And before they left we had to eat some semlor (filled cardemom buns) and negro balls (it's actually called that. "Negerbollar" in Swedish).
Porsche wanted semlor too....

Sneak-peak on shop item
I'm so happy - I found totally "me" stockings today. I have ordered them in for the webshop. I have other spiderweb stockings myself, but these are so much better. I'm having so much fun!
Ordering Chinese tonight
I've started to order some things to the webshop. Since my own designs are a bit late in production I might just fill it up with other things while waiting.
The shop will only be filled with typhical things I usually wear since many people have asked me where I buy my stuff. The things are not übercool and odd, but sweet I think.

I'm ordering small amounts of every item (5-11). So far I'm in love with all the stuff I've ordered. I think my wardrobe will be filled as well, and my wallet the complete opposite..

I need those!
I've been looking for some cute 14-eye boots with a heavy, flat plateu, and I think I just found my next shoe for the goth collection hanging around just inside my door ready to kick any old fart wearing no make up. Problem is I don't know what brand this is. Anybody?
I was pregnant at the time, so perhaps inbetween the hurls this was all I could manage ;)
For me to stomp around in
They will look great with this make up
Hmmm, maybe not.. This is by far too little make up for me. I still think I look really pretty like this, but holy macaony, I look almost "normal". I went for a sweet 1920's look for this picture, and I think I pulled it off, but in real life I seldom wear it like this. Perhaps if I have extremely lack of time then...I was pregnant at the time, so perhaps inbetween the hurls this was all I could manage ;)

Two replicas done
The lightning was far from as fantastic as on Paul Quant's pictures, and I hadn't access to the same amazing bridge as we did then, so I had to "work it" with what I got. I'm kind of pleased though :)

One replica done
The weather today was not the best for shooting outside. It was dark all day long, so the picture did end up far from Paul Quant's masterpieces. But considering weather aspects I still think the picture was okay..

Missing shoot
Finally I'm half the person I used to be...and I'm not talking about my weight ;)
After being sick since me and my sister got back from London in October (I had a cold even before we left) I haven't been aware to what's been going on in my life, I've been soooooo dead tired, my body have just survived but no more. I can't even remember what I've been doing the last months. It makes me so mad! I have things to do, things that needs my brain to cooperate, not just be on vacation. I feel like I wanna slap me around a bit to awake me!
But just now I FINALLY taped a last sequense for a new crafts video. It's about time!
Tomorrow I'll probably try to shoot a replica of Paul Quant's pictures of me (if the weather isn't too bad). I think I'm on my way back, slowly, but back :)

Spend 2 hours at the Emergency ward
Still suffering from the complications from my pneumonia, sinusitis and the beginning of an ear infection I had to go on even more medicine, and the day before yesterday my fingers felt fumbling and my arms heavy and my eyes a bit wierd, so yesterday I visited the doctor. He thought it was because of the cortisone I used but to still continue with the antibiotics, so I did.
Today at lunch I got a heavy pain in my heart-area (you know, where my cold, black stone is) and it spread up to my throat and then up to the right side of the face, making it feel a bit numb and strange. My lips was numb too. I had to land my ass in the sofa a while. The pain in my chest continued over a couple of minutes and after a while my sight went a bit odd. I felt like the eyes was a bit slow. It really scared me.
I called the ER and they wanted me to take an ECG, so I went.
The tests didn't show anything, and after 2 hours I told them I wanted to go home, so I had to sign myself out. I have better things to do then hang in the ER all night long..
I feel better now, but I still feel there is something strange going on with my fingers and arms, but as long as it doesn't kill me I don't care. I think it might be a reaction to the medicine, but I'm not sure, and I still have 3 more days left of it...
Of course I've landed a massive castric catarrh after all my time of strong medicine, so now I feel hungry ALL the time - even when I'm eating... I'm totally overeating and will start the year having to loose weight. That sucks!

"Our" song
I got a question about if me and my husband share a first-night-song.
And yes, we do! It's not our style in music at all.
We were at an electro disco (never seen eachother before), and was waiting and waiting for a slow dance.
This one came on and we both turned, looked at eachother, reached out and just fell into eachothers arms <3 Not a word was spoken! Kind of strange, considering now I can't shut up. I'm guessing he's longing for those quiet minutes again *haha*

Made chocolate for tonight
I made a milk chocolate truffle with whiskey, covered it in dark chocolate and used chocolate decour paper on it. Turned out very nice :)
The other I made was a dark espresso truffle covered in milk chocolate and with some cacao on top.
They are both sooooo goooood. I shouldn't have tried two of them before bedtime yesterday though...I'm no coffee drinker so I had trouble falling asleep.

The white one is a clean white truffle with lime, rolled in icing sugar. Sometime I have lime, sometimes oranges. Drooool.
I always think that IF you are going to eat candy - make it yourself, then at least you will get rid of all of those extra products that is no good for you..
Better candy makes better bodys <3
22 years in love
The 5'th of January 1989 (22 years ago) I fell in love, and I'm still falling...<3
I met my husband for the very first time ever and we both fell madly in love. This is the first picture of us together from that magically night.
I can sure tell the 80's was no good era for my hair ;) Back then it was pure misery all over. I was blonde at first, but a few weeks before this picture I was a hair-model and the bastards colored me in an awful carrot color. The day before this picture I just grabbed a pair of scissors and cut my hair a bit here and there. Well, I can't hate it really, since it helped me nail the prettiest boy alive <3
I love you for being so pretty
(he's nice too, but I only care for looks)
See what a big smile he put's on my face everytime he's near <3

Knees are in
Apparently after watching fashion shows the next "it" thing is knees.
And I can just say I'd LOVE these überpretty pantyhoses with a different pattern over the knee.
I'm often very cold on my knees, so instead of wearing leg-warmers, I usually cut off pieces from old lace stockings, add some lace-ribbon to the cut of ends and pull over my knees for extra heat. It gives the same expression, kind of...
There must be a hidden camera in here for the fashion designers..?
I must be a shear genious!

Happy New Year!
Earlier on New Years Eve we celebrated a bit at home with the kids.

Here drinking "Champagne" with a strawberry and eating some canapés
Dinner: Mushroom soup in a Schnappsglass, fillet of beef, roasted root crops, rocket salad and feta cheese in créme fraiche. I did good!
Then we went to our friends house for the party
And finally, today - after 4 years as an Australian, blond surfer boy (yes, I have teased him every single day) my husband changed back to black hair. He's sooooo hot right now <3
I made us vanilla panna cotta with strawberry consommé and rasped chocolate for dessert
TeeBee found a heart shaped crisp and gave me
but of course I doubled-dipped and dropped it on my skirt..
I wish you all a wonderful, fantastic, happy, eventful and gorgeous New Year.
May this be your best year ever and may all your dreams come true <3

Christmas for the 3'd time
I forgot to update on the Christmas we celebrated at my dad's and his wifes house on Christmas Day. Have to add that later.
But today we celebrated Christmas for the 3'd time. Today with my mother and her husband at our flat.
Thank's for at sweet 3'd Christmas. And what did I get? Money and sweet luxorious chocolate truffles.

This was the look of today
Dress: £10 at a London market, spangle tights: H&M, skull-socks: Lindex, shoes: Swedish e-bay

Cheesecake with milk chocolate ganache, strawberries and lightly whipped cream was what I served
Todays Christmas presents:
See my two cute gnomes and the new antique straw goat I bought
Synthia read on all the packages
And no, it's not one of my kitties to the right, it's my stuffed fox Marian Gold. I love her, she's so cute. I got her from Synthias school at a sale (crazy cheap). I thought she would have it better in my home where she can be loved than in some hunters cottage.Thank's for at sweet 3'd Christmas. And what did I get? Money and sweet luxorious chocolate truffles.
I'm enjoying them now :P
Eyes of today
Feeling the New Year approaching I did some fireworks inspired make up today :)
I had on lots of silver as well as lilac hologram glitter, but it didn't come out well on camera :(
Haha, gotta love that still picture...time for sleep, Adora?

Back to Doctor Bart
After I danced around the Christmas tree on Christmas eve and breathed like a 94 year old woman who just did 101 jumping jack's afterwards I had to realise it was time to lumber back to the doctors office...
Doctor Bart listened to my lungs today, then looked me in the eyes saying "-This doesn't look good. You have a whole orchestra playing in there."
Doctor Bart listened to my lungs today, then looked me in the eyes saying "-This doesn't look good. You have a whole orchestra playing in there."
This is the mental picture I goth
He could hear whisling, squeaking, rattling, crackle and pop, he said.
10 antibiotics at once, then 9/day as well as 2 gigantic cortisone pills every day AND cortisone nasal spray 2 times/day.
All of this because I have a double-sided pneumonia, sinusitis-problems and an otitis on it's way (the doctor who did the rinsing managed to put up some water behing my eardrum, and now, after being deaf on that ear since then, it's about to turn into an otitis.)
And of course on top of it all this the bi-effects on all these medicines is swollen face. I can just give my best eyeliner to the fact that I soon will look like a moon-girl in the face!
And yeah...we all know what else below-the-waist-problem comes out of a heavy antibiotics cure...
If only I could bake bread out of it...

Shabby chic people scares me!
The swedish variant of Shabby chic is more white, white and bit of zinc then the american flower, romantic way. But please, you must know when enough is enough!
I stumbled over this picture at http://romantiskahem.blogspot.com/
I couldn't believe it - but real persons lives here! It looks like an over decorated shop, not a home..

Don't the men look like they suffer?
I can understand a girl wants to live like this, it is kind of cute (I'm VERY embarassed to actually like it - moderately!) - but can you imagine a man living in this wedding cake home?! Wait - it gets worse:He's supposed to fuck in this! Can't be easy to be real macho when your making love in grandma's bedroom?
and of course there can be no empty places, everywhere it must be garish..
and here's the dinner table
Okay, so she's very good at creating this shabby chic (/"grandma-on-cocaine-balls-style") to her house. I like to visit peoples houses that look like this - but at the same time I can't help myself from laughing.
It's ridiculus having a man to live in this ruche brash!
I'm very ambivalent to this style...I like it, but still I think it's sick.
My home is also all white. Everything but the floor in the living room (parquet) and my bedroom (antique oak) is. I'd like the floor in the living room to be white too, but my husband's got enough by putting white floors in the kids rooms. But I still work him... I want my L.R. to look like a studio, sort of..
I have no special decoratin style, I like many, but I don't like color, it makes my mind twirly. Not too much stuff to be seen (that is extremely difficult when you live 5 persons in a 5-room flat). And yes - I admit to having certain areas in the shabby-style - from time to time - not all the time, all over the place.
My favorite room of all times was our bedroom in the last flat (before all the kids). It looked a bit like a catholic bedroom. Perfect to be nasty in ;) Sorry about the ugly bedside rug - but it was a fun thing we had going from a Turkey-vacation earlier..
