Okey, okey, here is a picture of me in my new bikini. An ordinary strap bikini á la 70's. Nothing special at all. Now I will just figure out how to goth pimp it with lace, ribbons, "diamonds", bows. Perhaps I'll add a spider or a bat somewhere...
I have to make some ruffle or lace in the upper front because I just noticed my caesarean section shows (I have a caesarean section because our first pregnancy was VERY complicated, with big risks for Synthia who was controlled twice a week to make sure she didn't get heart failure. She would never had survived a normal birth anyway, but we had an urgent c.s. 7 weeks too early, she only weight 1830 grams and we had to live at the hospital for 11 weeks and 3 days because she forgot to breath sometimes).
Vilken pangbrutta :o)) Ska bli spännande att se hur du pimpar bikinin! Skönt att allt gick bra med Chyntia!
ReplyDeleteHa en skön midsommar!!
To goth pimp your bikini i suggest you to sew some spiderweb lace all over the bikini, it would look amazing!
ReplyDeleteOr you could iron on it some rhinestone. Also some black organdie ribbon here and there would look nice.

How do you do swimming without ruining your make-up?? Because that was one of the reasons why I didn't want painted-on eyebrows anymore but my real eyebrows... I wanted to be able to swim and douse and bathe in the summer... So, do you abstain from that kind of fun or do you use a trick? Like waterproofed eyeliner or something?
ReplyDeleteanyway my dear adora, scars can be very cute, and goth aswell ^^
ReplyDeleteYou could add a glitter spider web to the cups on the bikini top so easily! Just paint them on! Spider beads strung onto the ties on the bottom of the bikini would complete the look or you could paint a spider on the fabric of the bottom.
ReplyDeleteIm wondering the same as one of the prev. commenters, how do you go swimming without the eyebrows getting smudged out? I have always wanted drawn on eyebrows but never really dared because of that. ):
ReplyDeleteHi! I think crochet swimsuits can be inspired you (http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_430xN.82124563.jpg) or something with lace (http://cache.wists.com/thumbnails/5/70/5708136b2351b133a02e9fd2711b01a0-orig or http://cache.wists.com/thumbnails/7/40/74092d09f5604636751185f31db60a53-orig)or something like corset (http://stylecourt.lovelyish.com/image/0/313.AP1.jpg)
ReplyDeleteOh, Adora! You look fabulous in your swimsuit. I can't wait to see what creativity you use to goth it up a bit. What do you do to stay so toned? Eating healthy and exercising are given, but what exactly do you do?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's the photo or what, but I can't see any scar. I've heard that Vitamin E or Cocoa Butter massaged into healed scars can help diminish the appearence of scars, but I haven't tried it out yet for myself.
To make your brows stay put for swimming I recommend either water resistant liner (MAC Blacktrack; Clinique True Black Creme Liner) ,, and if you're still unconfident, a quick shot of hairspray will make them stay put! xx
ReplyDelete-A fellow goth (I've been doing my eyebrows for years :))
@Alice E: Yeah, I've heard about people spraying their whole face with hairspray to make it waterproof. And yes, I use M.A.C. Blacktrack as well!
ReplyDeleteOMG, three kids and not a single stretchmark or sagging tummy. i could cry, because i have only one child and my belly looks like a battlefield although i was as thin as you before the pregnancy :,( do you have any tricks? haha, tummytuck? ;o)
ReplyDeleteCheck this goth summer outfit , you can be interested :)

The fishnet helps to cover the scars as well :D
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteYou look cute in your bikini Adora :D But yea, a little goth sparkle would make it perfect ^^
ReplyDeleteYou could also try out punkshop http://www.punkshop.dk/group.asp?group=157 and see if you like any of these bikinis, thought they are with kitty's and skulls on :3 And such a shame, there is no black left..
Can you PLEASE talk about how you keep yourself so skinny?
ReplyDeleteA pleasure to finally read your daughter was born healthy, and there was no serious trouble:) It could be hard all of you that couple of weeks ...
