I am nowhere near the beauty of those Indian women, but I still felt very beautiful. Ever since I was a child I have loved those wonderful India-women with their jewels and make up. I think we have all admired them...
I was even more brown in real life, the picture didn't make it justice
And yeah, the food was sooo amazing. My belly is more of a balloon now, filled with lots of dishes I can't pronounce :)
you really do look beautifull with that skin colour ^_^ not goth at all xD
ReplyDeleteit makes me laugh the matches of your scarfs :P or whatever the proper word is heheh
kisses
By the way, I was wondering whats those dots you have on your left arm? in the last photo
ReplyDeleteThe makeup brings out your pretty green eyes
ReplyDeleteWOW! you look younger then before!
ReplyDelete-With love Tess
This is the most beautiful i have ever seen you!!! You look stunning!!
ReplyDeleteOh you painted your face BROWN?!!! That is pretty lame, almost racist. It's lame for sure though. :l
ReplyDeleteIt´s not racism, its a tribute.
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning!
Came on "Anonymous" Think about it, its not racist. If you are realistic most of te indian women have a skin colour browner than Adoras.
ReplyDeleteIt could never been racist shes doing like an honour
Its like when she makes her face look like a gost >.< xD but the other way round
How's that racist? She's doing it as a tribute to the people of India. She's not trying to mock them.
ReplyDeleteP.s. Adora you look so amazing in these photo's! Probably more amazing in person! I am very jealous of how pretty you are! I really love your eyes!
I LOVE IT
ReplyDeleteYOU LOOK BEAUTIFUUULLLL ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteHaha oh dear, Don't listen to those anonymous losers, everyone knows they keep their identity a secret because they don't want anyone to see our patheticly boring they are in real life! hah. You look stunning as always :) Maybe you can disable anonymous comments so they we can all see how amazing they must be to feel they need to bully other people. How sad, seriously get a life anons, lifes too short.
ReplyDeleteYou looked so beautiful!!! <3
ReplyDeleteYou look great! You can pull off any look! I really love the way you did your eyebrows ;)
ReplyDeleteIs that you Adora?
ReplyDelete:O
Beautiful.
Wow you look so different! I love it!
ReplyDeleteoh my god, you look so gorgeous, i don´t have words to say how beautiful you are in this look.
ReplyDeleteyou look gorgeous!! this is the prettiest picture, i didn't even recognize you! i bet you could do some magical tricks with makeup and we wouldn't even recognize. You should play dress up more often!!!
ReplyDeletesoo beautiful <3 as allways
ReplyDeleteI'm so pathetically boring because I don't have green hair and a unicorn horn. Eye roll.
ReplyDeletePainting your face brown isn't a tribute. If you were brown you'd think it's disgustingly lame. How would you feel if a dark Indian woman painted her face white and wore blue contacts to the opera: it would be pretty stupid right? Same idea.
I love Adora, but this is just not so cool.
omg, this is weird. You look amazingly beautyful, but it feels like looking at a different person with the natural tent and hair colour.
ReplyDeleteWho are you? And what have you done with adora? ;)
OMG!!!! you are marvelous! you look like an amazing actress... i love your green eyes! perfect!
ReplyDeleteI read your blog and know a little bit your goth's soul but this make up is really good for you, I think...
ReplyDeleteYou look so amazing!
ReplyDeleteDu är jätte vacker. Kanske ska bli lite solbränd i sommar i stället?
ReplyDeleteA lot of women wear bronzer/fake tan, so why the 'lame/racist' comments? It's just a bit of bronzer...
ReplyDelete@Anonymous'es: The dots on my arm - is actually my VEINS popping out! I have very external veins.
ReplyDeleteAbout the "tan". I don't think the india make up would be made justice with my pale look, I wanted to look like the real thing. I had inspitarion from this picture:
http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/200809/r290645_1242789.jpg
My heritage is Spanish, so my mother (and my whole family on that side) looks like a mix between spanish and indian women (men) with darker skincolor, brown eyes and black hair. I too get VERY brown if I let the sun come near me.
Adora, did you dye your hair brown or what? :O it certainly doesn't look purple anymore!
ReplyDeletehmm.. you did a fantastic job with the outfit and make-up, but I like you more "goth" ;)
ReplyDeletehow did you make your hair brown? or is a wig?
Adora,
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful I've seen you yet! I LOVE this look!!! I love this tribute to the Indian culture.
I bet your evening was fun!
As for anonymous, you're just a jealous hater, who hides behind your anonymity. People like you are called trolls. Go find something more productive to do with your time than to criticize people.
Oh, this is so beautiful! :D I've always loved Bollywood (I went to Bollywood-dance classes for half a year ;D) but I would never have expected you to try it out! You never fail to amaze me, you are so wonderful <3
ReplyDeleteI'm not a troll; I'm an offended Indian woman.
ReplyDeleteThe ignorance is rampant.
Well Anonymous, that sucks for you
ReplyDeleteI am a not-offended Indian woman.
Great job Adora ;)
Wow you look so different...it totally fits you! :))
ReplyDeleteOh wouw, that's amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou look so different but wonderfull!
Did you dye your hair brown?
xox Psychara
SO BEAUTIFUL, sincerely ~
ReplyDeleteYes, today I will dress like a swede, paint my face white, wear all black and grey clothes, wear a blonde wig and act like an ignoramus who can't learn anything new.
ReplyDeleteGood plan? Yes, ok.
Simple stunning, i can actually see your true features!, love it!, i do like the original Adora, but it about time i see your true physique.
ReplyDeleteOh my god, you look absolutely stunning! This is a fabulous look on you. (Compared to your usual look.) Keep on being beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou look stunning! :D
ReplyDeleteI dont think she is that 'brown'?? I think it looks like Adora with a slight bronzing - a couple of shades darker than her normal. Gorgeous, and definatly not offensive! I too want to know if she dyed her hair or a wig :D I love it! PS Still wanting to see wedding Pics!! x x
ReplyDeleteAdora! You made me so proud! You took your make up skills and challenged yourself well :) You look soooooooo beautiful and super gorgeous! Any other looks you would like to inspire me with? hehe. Keep up the gooood work.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rachel.
I don't think any of you have a right to say it's not offensive that Adora browned her skin to play dress up as an Indian woman unless you actually ARE an Indian woman. How the hell would you know? You can't speak for a different race.
ReplyDeleteI know, and it IS offensive, so believe and deal with it.
I'm an Indian and I think Adora is very beautiful. And if she had not painted brown face she could not exactly replicate the Indian style. I do not think it racism.Think that this racism is stupid!
ReplyDeletebeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Back in college I would have theme parties and insist that people had to dress up. I never thought that now I'm older I can have dinner theme parties!
ReplyDeleteCultural appropriation: look it up geniuses.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!!! That is an amazing make up!! :D
ReplyDeleteI love it!!
ReplyDeleteThe tan skin looks really good on you :) And the make up is gorgeous!
she looks like a chick with a tan. why don't you go complain about snookie being racist since she's a thousand times browner
ReplyDeletei think she looks great.
