Out in the sun

I've been away most of the day. I had a terrible time trying to hide from the sun as I was visiting one of my best friends. She lured me out into the sun with home made "dammsugare"/vacuum cleaner's and a fantastic chocolate pie and latte.
The cookie "vacuum cleaner" (rum taste and marzipan)
I'm now trying to bleach my skin back to the pale, dead'ish vampire color it was before. Darn my spanish heritage! ;)

  1. Ah, I've had those at Ikea! I didn't know what they were, but I said 'they taste like alcoholic marzipan!' - I was right, haha! Are they a Swedish thing then?

  2. Those look really good, haha! What do you use to bleach your skin? It's hard out here in California, I'm always trying to find new things besides long sleeves and sunscreen. <3!

  3. What pretty desserts!

May I make a suggestion on getting rid of that tan? (Especially to my fellow Californian, Serenity?) Make a cup of plain black tea and, once cool, apply it to your skin like you would a skin or facial toner. No need to wash off - just let it air dry or gently pat it dry with a soft towel and follow with a moisterizer. (For really bad sunburns, try to soak the burn in a bathtub full of cool black tea for about 15 minutes at a time over a series of a couple of days, repeating a few times throughout the dry. It'll help aliviate the pain of the burn, heal the skin underneath, and help reduce the color of the burn.)

  9. You are a very brave vampire ;) Hehe spanish heritage. The thought of the sun making me darker scares me. I could feel burning from just the light coming in from the window haha.

  14. You know what would be very cool if you did? Teach people how you bleach your skin. I get tanned way to easily, and I hate it. But I just love being outside in the sun :/

and I sympathise, being part Maori my skin goes dark at even the slightest touch of sun, and I look amazingly funny with my son, he is a low grade albino so he is as white as snow
