I: used to look like Cicciolina

From when I was 18, to about 28, I had periods where I liked to look like Cicciolina.

Back then (apart from the porn-movie part) she was mostly famous for popping out her boobs every now and then, being in the Italian parlament and to me for being so incredible pretty as sweet on the inside (and we established that I, the cold hearted Goth, cares nothing about the inside usually).

I think I had kind of a girl-crush on her. To me she was the prettiest girl ever - and I was SO happy to discover I could pull her looks off.
To this day I still finds her VERY attractive, even at her current age (62).

I kind of wished people would pop out their boobs more often.

The 28 year me as my muse Cicciolina.
The amazing original: Cicciolina. That face!!!!
She always had such a wide smile - I have so tried to copy that!
She is art, and her style was/is totally her own. I think many young girls today are inspired by her hair-thingies without even knowing ;)
But I know!
She
Me

Thank you, pretty Cicciolina for all the inspiration *big, red smile*

My sisters Birthday today!

My pretty sister Iva Insane turns 24 today!!!
Happy Birthday, and may all your birthday wishes come true <3
Last year today we were in London together, at Torture Garden to be exact. Having a swell time I might add.
This year we'll leave for London 3 days after.

My sister and I have the same father, and I have the fortune of having her mom as an extra mom, but I still have my "own" mom as well.
My mom and dad fell out of love when I was 3 years old, and both found new living partners.
I grew up with my mom and her husband, and visited my father and his sweet wife Berith (called Beda) every other weekend.
My father and his wife tried to have a child of their own for many, many years, but nothing happened. But about 10 years after they met they finally did it.
I was 15 when I "got" my sister. I was in school, and I knew what day and time I was supposed to get me some baby sister or brother because it was a complicated pregnancy and it was a planned cesarean section at 10 o'clock (if I'm not mistaken) the 1'st October 1987.
My whole class knew I was about to get a sibling that day.
All of a sudden the headmaster shouted out in the speaker: "-Ann-Sophie Wernersson (that was my name by the time) to the expedition!"
I jumped up like I was sitting on a burning chair and shouted out "¨-My sibling is born!!! and ran for the expedition.
I can't remember if it was my father or his wife who made the call but I remeber them saying it was a girl.
Wihooo, just what I had hoped for!
And we'll leave it at that for this time :)

Love,
A

Nature Goth

Today in pictures:

My ordinary Saturday routine is to wash and re-color my hair (I add a bit of Directions semi color to my conditioner) and then I cut the bangs.
Sweden had the most beautiful fall in store for us today, so we gathered the little ones and prepared to do a "Hanzel und Gretyl", but without the evil ending ;) We acctually love our kids <3
We packed some cookies and drinks in my 50's inspired picnic basket and headed for the forest.

I had a blast today! It was so much fun playing about and the weather made it feel like a fairytale.

We found the same place as we visited this spring to have our cookie break on and stuffed us with freshly baked cupcakes. Super nice <3 Pure pleasure.
We struck gold as well, and found a place with lots of blueberries so we plucked enough to make some blueberry cupcake tomorrow.

I'm cute

I have the funniest friends ever!
One male friend, Mr N, once said to me:
"I don't wanna say you are stupid, you just have bad luck when you are thinking."
Hahahaa!!! I just love things like this! And it's SO true ;)

One other fun thing is people often tells me I look so darn good on pictures.
I ususally respond; "Yeah, I'm very photogenic, but I'd rather look good live instead of on pictures ;)"
But it's only half true because I either look shamefully beautiful or crazy ugly on pictures, no inbetween.

And in order to show off I'll put up one of the X-tra-x modelling shots that I find very pretty.

UCG - what's that?

I have (too) gotten the question about what the F is UCG?
It started with some girl being a bit mad at my überpretty sister Iva Insane and then wrote: "She thinks she’s so much better than everybody else. F**king Upper class goth".
I can never say no to a good laugh so we had a blast about us being UCG's and joked a lot about us being like the goth version of the Hilton sisters!
We have this as our standing joke now, saying we use Gucci stockings as "German stockings" (my own word for ripped stockings) and such :)

I'm not really up to date on the brawl between this girl and my sis, but I have never noticed my sister being stuck up. To me she is very humble and have a sweet persona, unlike me, who is the cold hearted bitch from hell and only thinks about me, me and me.
I think UCG was a compliment :)

My tattoo's: No 1, Blue butterfly

At the age of 12 I decided to tattoo a butterfly when I was allowed (we have an 18 years restriction in Sweden).
Remember, as I vampire, I have lived many decades before you and are sprung from another time.
When I was young, and not yet a vampire, only sailors and hookers had tattoo's. There were only 3-4 tattoo studios in all of Sweden and no piercing studios to be found..only for earrings. It was a tough time to be alternative...

-Mum, can I get a tattoo or have my nose pierced?
-If you MUST, get a piercing, at least it can be removed. *As if*

And, oh yes, I was (am) a big fan of Cicciolina's look by the time... I think I pulled it off quite good.
So me and my friend T went to an ear piercing studion and we convinced them to shoot us in the nose with their little gun. Worked out like a charm! Finally, my quest to look as beautiful as an India women could begin.
And then at 18 I travelled all the way to Malmö and hook up with Kenneth Fong, a cool Asian tattooist famous in Sweden (now dead).
I got my little blue butterfly on my upper left arm I decided on as a 12 year old (which is the age when I went alternative). It costed 120 SEK/$18.
When I came back to school it was the talk of the year. I was the ONLY one in a school with 900 students with a tattoo! I guess it's not like that any more.
Now I was wierd for real.
I hide it from my mum 1-2 years. Grandma thought it was cute <3
Nowadays a butterfly is a bit nerdy I guess, but for me it's the dreams of a 12 year old girl that is put there. I like the way she used to think.
Although I now have a bigger tattoo attached to it, I never want to cover it.
And that''s my butterfly story <3

Todays outfit

I haven't been sick for ages, but last week school started so the kids dragged home some jerm to my little nose that makes me sneeze, sneeze and SNEEZE. Gave me a fever and a clogged nose as well - that hurts so I think I'm getting sinusitis again ;(

BUT - as the fantastic mother I am I doped up on painkillers to be able to go on a boat trip with our kids. Even panic baked cinnamon/apple cupcakes and raspberry cupcakes to bring, just 30 minutes before departure.
As a kid I used to go out on boat trips with my grandpa Harry's fishing boat all the time, and today, standing out on deck, I got that same feeling hearing the water against the fore. I lik the feeling. I was a total nature kid *who'd know*

Old picture of the day

This is one of my favorite pictures of me. Perhaps not my prettiest, but I like it very much. I think I look so "me" :)  This is from the same festival as this, 1999, so that would make me 27 at the time..
With me is an old friend, Peter, a super sweet guy who I became friends with when I was out walking in my dads town and met Peter and a friend and since Sweden is a small country and I like to meet fellow "synthare"/electro goths I simply approached them and asked if they were synthare. Shy? Who, me?! Never.
They said; hell, yes, and then they revealed they already knew all about me. I think they even said I was a legend (they were so cute)!
A bit embarassing and surprising for me, but I at least made two good looking friends (and several more of their friends). We have had many good times together :)

Cartwheeling Adora

An old dream of mine has always been to be able to do a cartwheel and one of 2011 New Years resolutions was to make it this summer.

Today we were at our friends house for some barbecue and cuddling their rabbits and our kids riding one of their horses and with all this green stuff, called grass, I was brave enough to try it.
It might not have come out the way I hoped for, but I think I improved during the day :)
It was fun :)

Cupcakes and Mandrake the Magician

Yesterday when I delivered cupcakes for Synthia's schoolmates she couldn't join beacuse of the chicken pox, so I forced (I like using that word) her to decorate one of her own just so she wouldn't be sad about missing the 10 o'clock break at school.

The ugly pink with hearts is mine, pink flower is the one creative Synthia did and blue flower was made by creative TeeBee. I need to think more like a child - their's much prettier!
I'm a BIG fan of Mandrake, and I usually think in serie strip ways, like:
Synthia is decorating her cupcakes looking happy, but what you can't see is me hypnotizing her dressed up like a marshal telling her she is happy.
Just like when Mandrake hypnotized the criminals so it appeared like he magically got their guns in his hand, but then there will be this strip saying "This is what really happened:" and you get to see him hypnotize the bad guys, walking up to them, taking their guns, get back to where he stood before, and snapped his fingers making them believe it just re-appered in his hands. Magnificent!
And yes, I was in love with Mandrake.

Unknown facts about me

Many, maaaaany years ago I did a cover of a magazine together with Dee Snider from Twisted Sister .
The shoot was originally supposed to be with Alice Cooper, but he was a bit late and I had to leave early so I couldn't wait for him (what a diva!). But the nice mr Dee Snider was in handy instead.

I've been a "synthare" (the closest translation is electro goth) since the age of 12, and in Sweden there was a big "war" between hardrockers and synthare.
We only liked synthetic sounds made by computers. Our house Gods by the time were Alphaville, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb.
Guitars and real drums were strictly forbidden.
I've seen half of the audince leave when electro-bands played live in Sweden and all of a sudden brought in a guitarr on stage!
So for ME to do a shoot with one of the most hardrocker there is was an inner fight!
On one hand - really cool to even be close to this legend (yes, I've seen their early videos and heard their guitar based music) and on the other hand - this man is the father of my sworn enemies...
I still have very mixed feelings when seeing this :)
But I have to tell you - he had a great personality! Very warm and easy going...but still, that can't convert my cold, cadenced electro heart <3

It's FRIIIIDAY! Nerdy facts about me

I'd like to have this pretty glass <3 From Pressies 4 Princesses for £16.49

I LOVE Friday's <3
This is a bit nerdy I guess, but:
EVERY Friday I switch my regular water glass to a high ball glass with a big red heart on it (well I force my husband to use one too) just to make a point of it's now FRIIIIDAY <3. I've done it for years.
I'm guessing most people have a Friday-ritual, but this is one that I always do.
Of cause I make myself extra pretty for my husband too :*

We also have Friday disco! We have done that since we moved in together. We put on old Maxi singles and dance together. Nowadays we do it with the kids so it's mostly Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, but we can sneak in a few electro hits too :)

Please tell me if you have any Friday wacky things going on! So I know I'm not the only crazy person...
