Lenses

With less than a month left to M'era Luna festival in Germany I'm about to order some new, cool lenses.
I'm already VERY happy with my blue angelic eyes and the white ones with black borders, but me and the cute sis wanny try someting new this year. (We ordered those from http://www.lensway.se/)
We are going to match outfits, hair and make up on the first day. I think we will look great!
Just gonna decide on some lenses we both like.
I'm really looking foward to the festival as much as the look we'll have.

Here we are after M'era Luna 2008. This was just before we were about to remove our make up. I'm so amazed our make up still looks good after a whole days partying.

Todays outfit

The summer continues in Sweden :)
Today I had my cute sparkly skirt on.
The leggings are ordinary stockings that I've cut off and then I bought an elastic ribbon with spangles on. Sew it together to make an elastic ribbon to fit under my knee. Added a bow and voilá: it looks like my un-glamourous leggings have a nice lace ending.
And yeah, I served the kids some blood spotted (strawberry) cupcakes for afternoon break.

Me in black hair

Some people have asked about pictures of me in black hair. And I aim to be sweet and nice so I found a few.
I have never colored my hair black for real (I've almost always been blonde) but I have used black hairspray, Directions semi-color Ebony and black homemade dreads.
All pictures are from 2005-2006 when I'm pregnant with Fairlight, then TeeBee..
Synthia and me. Fairlight is in tummy.
Unfortunately my face look so bony with it and I don't think I look as good in black hair as others. But I looove black hair on both girls and boys - it's totally hot!
By Henrik Pilerud.
The more socially accepted Betty Page-look was good when I was pregnant since I was always feeling sick and could not bare to stand in front of the mirror as long as usual...
Uh, it scares me how rockabilly I look! The look is cute, but it's not just for me.
Me and my husband renewed out wedding vows on our 8'th anniversary :)
On top of hair my real color (bit black spray in fringe). This is how Directions Ebony will turn out when I wash it to make it ready for a new color.
At a cousins wedding <3 (homemade dress)
I have a black fringe.

Old picture of the day

Passed summers <3
This is from 2007 at my parents in laws home.
Ahh, what a lovely day - and what a lovely hair I had! One thing is sure - I will go back to that lovely pink color one day.
The foundation looks so good too! Without being a total narcissist I'm a bit in love with this girl <3 I think I wanna be her again..

Cat Show

Here's a few pictures from me and Porsches winning tour at the Cat Show at Calmare Katt klubb.
He won his CAP and got to be BIS (Best in Show). He was so cool about everything and everyone could see how much he loved the attention and cuddles.
I was most proud of the judge telling me I had done a great job on his presentation (even thow I didn't do much since he already is a beauty). He got exellent on all aspects; head shape, body type, ears, eyes, temper, coat, tail. He IS a perfect example of his race so to speak.
My cute sister with sphynx Ingela and Porsche and me
Both our cats got their certificate AND ws nominated for panel <3

My siamese cat Porsche won!

I'm tired like a dog running after cars all day after the cat show.
But we cleaned the arena from contestants and put them at shame ;)
Porsche, my wonderful, cuddly, cool and beautiful seal point siamese won both CAP and Best in Show!
I'm so proud. You can find some photos at my facebook. I will put some up here as well, but not just now since the Sandman is very insistent and comes with wheelbarrows of sleeping sand.

Cat Show

Tomorrow (Saturday) I will be attending a cat show with my über cute siamese cat Porsche.
I'm so nervous!
I have brushed him for 2 weeks to make his fur in perfect condition and cutted his razor sharp claws yesterday. That's it really. When you have a short hair it's not so much maintenance.
The worst part have been to keep my lipstick lips of his cute little head the past weeks.

My wonderfully gorgeous sister will also attend the cat show with her sphynx girl Ingela. It would be so cool if we both won!
I'm looking foward to spend the day with her and just talk her ears of :)
Keep your fingers crossed for Porsche.

Yesterday: Mother turning 60

Yesterday my mother turned 60, so we went by to give her a few gifts and delight her party guests with our revelations :)
I gave it a good thought and figured I'd make a nice gesture and NOT dress in black.
I remembered I had a cute moss-green, short, chiffon cocktail dress somewhere in the attic. Haha, to match my green hair.
But since the attic is a no-mans-land with things from the first decade of humans and clogged with "things that might come in handy" I tried to gently ask my husband to do some digging, but that was a sure dead end and I'd to settle with the only dress with color I had i the flat - a skin-colored chiffon dress that goes by the name "the pig dress".
The wierd thing is I really love this dress, but I probably look to others like a bad version of Miss Piggy in it. Oink, oink.

To top it off I put on a "few" of my jewels. I was teased all evening about not being able to raise my skinny arms with all that metal on. That I could!
My lovely kids outstaged me as usual with their cute outfits
And we were served smörgåstårta/sandwich layer cake and cold buffet. This was my second plate. Yummie!
My mother, Eivor, and me (I pixled her since I'm not sure she wants the attention ;) As you can see she's got some good genes being 60 and having that slim body. (She's not short, I'm wearing heels, she's not)
We gave her some cute gold heart shaped earings as well as a strawberry cutter and a lime chasing tool.

Road-kill

On my way to a new location I got very, VERY hungry.
And can you imagine my luck! Just 50 meters from my car a human walked and by a total coincidence the human just happened to become a road-kill!! What shear luck!
And as I see it, there's no harm in eating something that just went dead?
He tasted a bit of rum so I'm guessing he had a nice night the one before.
Well, with a happy heart I continued my trip to the final destination. I was well greeted and given a nice, red room to rest in.
The evening will be spent with a beautiful girl <3

Tour de goth

I must leave town a few days to go hunting for my humans elsewhere. Mostly it's because I'm tired of how the people here tastes and wanna try a different kind of setting and new actors. I think the trip will do me good.
I must leave at dawn.
My fangs already can taste the blood of others and feel another wind in my hair while their hot bodys turns beautifully pale and the body gets colder. I just can't wait!

Foundations

Question:
The pale bunch of you (wanting to look like a dusty vampire like I); what base, foundation and powder is the best according to you?
I use:
  • ♥ Boots No 7 Beauty Serum (to soften the skin)
I need things for my age, and this reduce my pores and wrinkles. I get a good effect from it.

♥ L'Oréal True Match C1 Rose Ivory mixed with Kryolan Ultra fluid Foundation TV White Art. 9130
    or
♥ Kryolan Ultrafoundation TV White 2 (sometimes mixed with TV White). Ultrafoundation can feel a bit thick but it's got the full coverage I like; as do the L'Oréal and Kryolan mix.

    ♥ IsaDora powder 10 (transparent)

    ♥ Kryolan Anti-Shine Powder, transparent Art.5705

(♥ Sometimes StarGazer White powder, but I am not super-pleased with it)
I'm always on the lookout for a new, better foundation (although I'm pleased with the ones above).
I like really rich covering foundation with little maintainance during the day. The Kryolan I use only needs a few extra powder puffs during the day to make me look matte.

Bombard me with better base/foundations/powders, please!
Illamasqua, M.A.C.? Never tried either.

V-log: On my way to get a HUGE ice cream

Can you see the ice cream glint in my eyes?

Ice cream

Usually Fridays are ice cream day for us.
All dressed up and ready for ice cream :)
Tomorrow is my husbands last day of work and then we'll have vacation!!! So, we thought we should all go out and have ice-cream for dinner tomorrow (we sometimes skips dinner and goes for a huge ice cream instead. It seems like the kids like it ;) ), but we noticed the weather would be shit tomorrow so we went out and got it today instead.
We had marzipan/chocolate, appel/cinnamon, mint/chocolate, vanilla soft ice cream with strawberry ribble and sprinkles today.

Cupcakes

Synthia was with a friend and her mum to the beach today, and then her friend followed her home on a play-date :)
Panic! What to do to keep the 4 kids happy and not eating me (mine are aspiring vampires, you know...).

Yeah, I pulled out my safe card - cupcakes. The only thing that makes me somewhat human.
I don't think I've ever published the recipe I use most often? How horrible of me!
This is how the mini cupcakes looks fresh out of the oven. I would serve them with icing sugar on top or my usual frosting and sprinkles (next pic).
This is for a basic swedish muffins (as we call them)/cupcakes.

Muffins/Cupcakes 10 medium or 12 mini converter
oven: 200 degrees Celsius
Hot tips: divide the mixture in two and make 2 different kinds of flavours in one batch (think of me saying it in a peppy Martha Stewart way).

62 g butter, room tempered
1 dl sugar (you can cut down to 0,75 dl)
1 egg
½ teaspoon vanilla sugar
2,25 dl wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking-powder
0,75 dl milk
+ flavour
  • zest of ½ a lemon or ½ orange
  • fruit, berries
  • 1 teaspoon extra of vanilla
  • spice: cinnamon, caraway
  • chocolate...
I like to use lemon and straw-/raspberries together.

Beat the butter and sugar senseless until fluffy. Add all other ingredients. Blend it all together with taste of choice. Pour into 24 small cupcake forms or 10 medium sized and put in middle of the oven. Small 6-10 minutes, medium 10-15 minutes.
Wait for a few minutes and then pour icing sugar on top, or let them cool if you're to have frosting on top (for this I recommed baking them one day in advance).

While they are in the oven you have time enough to make the frosting.

And NO - they are not for you if you are a Phase 1 in the Montignac Method ;/ *sorry* but Phase 2'ers can enjoy one 3 hours after the last meal - or you serve them to fatten up your friends to make yourself look thinner *mo-ha-ha-haaa*
