Good Friday

Right now I'm having hot chocolate and are eating the peanut cookies I baked together with TeeBee.
They turned out very good and tasted yummy (a bit too sweet), but in the picture they should be flat, and ours were not. I think we had a tad to much flour. I think I will add them in my permanent recipe book, at least until I find a better peanut cookie recipe. My last was with cocoa and chopped chocolate added, but they were a bit boring in taste.
I can always half dip these or wriggle dark chocolate on them to make them better.
I wish they were a bit more beautiful though, I want my cookies to look pretty. But they score 4p out of 5 in the peanut cookie category.

You want my Pee-nuts?  (10 big or 20 small)
100 gram butter
1 dl sugar
1 dl oatmeal
1 dl chopped salted peanuts
1,5 dl wheat flour
½ teaspoon baking soda

Oven 200 degrees Celsius.
Mix room temperatured butter with sugar until it's fluffy.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Roll them to about 10 bolls (or 20 for smaller), put the bolls on a baking plate and bake them for about 10-15 minutes.
We made 10 big cookies - and they were heavy-duty cookies. I could only have one and then I was full!
Don't try this at home unless you wanna gain weight.

  1. i think the cookies look pretty. in america people stick a hershey's kiss chocolate on top of the cookie ball and bake it...looks and tastes yummeee

  2. Not everyone in America does that, I don't. I just roll the dough into a ball and push it down with a fork twice to make a cross pattern and it makes them nice and flat and crunchy. That is what my mom did, and her mom and etc.

  3. very good looking cookies indeed! ^_^ although i can believe the "don't try this at home unless you wanna gain weight" part... still tempting!
what would be a good recipe for something sweet to eat on the montignac diet? i've already done the baked cinnamon apple... so good! :D

seriously, hershey's tastes like crap... it doesn't even deserve to be called chocolate... I'm just spoiled with german chocolate <3 :D

  5. Hwy love, it's two years now that i follow you! *stalker*
just wanted to say thay i didn't have nuts so i used caramelled breakfast cereal! how to turn smth healthy like wholegrain-cereal into something so devilish!!!!!
