Montignac Method: Forenoon break

This is one example of what I have on my forenoon break:
mild tea and blue cheese.

And as usual you can have as much as you need to feel content.

A small tips for the upcoming beach season (well covered in both sunblock and umbrellas, of course).

100 Victorian collars

The Victorian collars I designed just dropped down in my flat!
100 of them, packaged and ready to enter the shop.

As a designer this is nerves on top.
Now I just need to get a grip on this bookkeeping program and I'm on.
I feel like a want a big premier day!

Fairlight the trendsetter

The sweet, innocent Fairlight's been nagging since last summer to shave one side off.
When she started crying because we said "no", we realized she really wanted it, so one side was shaved off after the St Lucia. :)

And now she's spread her hairstyle. A nice girl, N, wanted to have the exactly same hairstyle and made her mum shave it in the same way.

Goth cyborg

Here's another shot from Fridays filming with L.
She did a marvellous job at laughing at me as she had me run back and forward because I had the most stupid running style!

In my mind I portrayed myself as the evil Cyborg in Terminator, but in fact I looked more like my grandpa doing a slow run.
We laughed our ass of as we looked at my running on the computer. I will seriously harm her if she ever releases those clips!
At the more "modelly" shots I looked fab - but I should never run again!
I will most certainly never get a part as an evil, running Cyborg in Terminator.... perhaps Golden Girls got a spot open?

Filming the short movie

It was so cool to star in my friends mini movie for her school project yesterday (but I pretend it's an Oscar award winning movie)?

She had me running back and forward at the museums inner yard.
And I tried to run kind of cool, but I had my plateau shoes on and ran like an old man. She started to laugh everytime because of my ridiculous running style !

...and when I saw the filmed material I laughed so hard my tummy got hurt. I am not a "running" beauty!

I almost forgot to post the pictures!
That was a close call to having to show myself without make up. I'm shaking!

It looked better without the fringe...
But since it's only glued I can change it later if I change my mind.

Adora BatBrat starring in a short film!

My lovely friend L needed a model for a school project tomorrow and she asked <3 ME <3 How nice!

School project, my ass! In my mind this is a HUGE movie that will make thousands of people seeing it :)
*brain says: dear God, did I create this goth monster? I'm trying real hard here to keep the sain. I'm about to give up.*

I will probably only show for 3 seconds - but it will be the best 3 seconds, and I will be marvellous!

Stupid Blue chair!

This stupid chair is mocking me!
Every time I have time enough to finish it, it's too late so I can't start hammering because of the neighbours.
This is my personal vendetta and I will finish it off at lunchtime tomorrow.

Now I've said it! And I have to bow my head in shame if I don't make it!
I'll even go as far as to say: IF I have not placed a picture of the damn chair by 23:00 tomorrow, complete with blue fabric AND trimming, I MUST put up a picture of me without make up where my face is clearly viewed and recent (no baby pictures).

Don't get your hopes up - I have no intention of failing!

I have no clue about the recipe, but it wouldn't be so hard to figure out I think. I would guess gelatin have something to do with it..

At the China buffet

Friday my darling husband took me for a small shopping trip to the town where I was brought up; Kalmar.

I needed some stuff for my new company to get started.

I was so very happy to be able to have the business lunch with my shop programmer at one of my favorite China restaurant where me and my friends ate at least twice a week when we went to school.

It was just as good as I remembered!

The squid at the buffet was pure perfection!

If any time in Kalmar - eat at Ming Palace!

I have a new hair color!

Here you see it!

Well, I've had it since Thursday really...(that's why that picture was in black and white).

I changed it back to the pink!

I figured it would give me some luck now when I'm starting my own business and all...and also the kids had a saying in the matter as well. Pink won over yellow and blue when they voted. And I gotta please my family :)

Personally I love the pink too, but I think I looked cooler, more ghostly, with the blue'ish. And the yellow was incredible cute on me. But now I have a year of pink ahead of me.

I mostly change color once a year, remember?

Tomorrow I'll think out what to make of it...I'm thinking....

Saying bye-bye

These are the last shots of me..
...wearing green hair.
This morning I changed it. I didn't have green because I thought it was cute - it was more of a "fun" statement. I've laughed every single day when The Joker/Krusty the clown smiled back at me in the mirror. But now I'm cute <3

Now we have all overdosed this green color so we won't miss it for at least a year....

Today's look

Since it was today I signed on the dotted line I really felt the need to wear bats for luck.
The lovely bat stockings was a gift from my pretty sister. Just perfect for me!
Dress is an old H&M dress with a totally uncomfortable blouse from the same shop.

The deal is signed, sealed and delivered. Therefore a change will come..

BatBrat Limited, seconds left...

Just signed on the dotted line to pay the 50 000 SEK to pay for my "aktiebolag"/limited company.
One more turn to the lawyers and it's done!

My window view

Crafting: Blue chair

I just finished the stuffed seating.

Man, that's some hard work I just did! My arms are like over cooked Italian spaghetti right now after all that pulling and hammering.

IF there is a real tapestry maker out there - yes, I know I should have used more nails to make the surface smoother, but I figured I won't need this piece to last a human life length, I'm happy if it lasts 3 years.

Now I will join my family and a few other family's for some sausage grilling! My arms needs a rest anyway..

Crafting: Blue chair

Finally the work continues with TeeBee's blue chair.

I almost puked when I removed the old fabric and filling. Gahh, so much disgust.

Being a bit short on foam and ordinary filling I simply cut up a cheap bed blanket and added a shamefully cheap pillow from IKEA to make the seat a bit more cosy.

Now time for the base fabric before I add the blue one.
