Surveillance on Adora BatBrat

I often have a feeling that I'm on the Truman show, but Adora BatBrat show instead. Well, not just a feeling - it's the true.
There actually is a syndrome named after that movie.
But I, of course, are being under surveillance secretive for real. They keep me in oblivion, but sometimes they slip and I'm closing in on them.
Today I found the camera following me on IKEA.
Two seconds after I took this picture two "electric workers" picked it down and mumbled it was something wrong with the wires.
Yeah, right!

I'm a pimp

...or should it be a pimper?

I love to Glam things up; my Barbies as a child, my own clothes as a teen, my boyfriends at the lawful age....
Now I noticed the kids sun hats a bit overly washed so I couldn't let them look so sad :(
As an attempt to make them happy once more I gripped my varnish glue, printed some stuff and digged up glitter and the kids got so happy!
(the hats too. I'm a good pimp)

BatBrat idea: neckbelt

I have a few cool necklaces that's a bit too long to be a favorite because I would like them shorter around my neck and are too lazy to shorten them so I end up with a safety pin in the back and that doesn't look that UCG.
But since the happy 80's when personal creativity exploed we wore our necklaces as "belts" and I have continued using this lovely idea.
Mostly I have had crosses, but since I've got a nice blood necklace I might as well use it.
Clever, right?!
I'm so smart, I'm so clever!

TeeBee did it!

Leaving your kids at their grandpa one night is the best trick to make them learn how to bike.
I missed TB an awful lot yesterday but I was so pleased to see grandpa's work gave fruit!

He can now ride his bike without support and grandpa deserves a nice rest after all that running.
I gave him comfort though by saying it was the last BatBrat kid he'd have to teach to bike since we will not have more kids.
He looked relaxed when hearing that :)

Todays Goth look

After a day at an outdoor market and then dinner at my in-laws and going home without my TeeBee I'm beaten...
Why I left my beloved prince at his grandparents?
Well, it's grandpa's job to learn the kids how to ride a bike, and now it's TeeBee's turn :)
How I'm gonna miss looking at him asleep and cuddle him in the morning. But tomorrow we'll bring him back - and hopefully he can ride his bike without support.
Work hard, grandpa!

Today's Goth make up

We are on our way to a outdoor market called "Tosiga bonnadan" = Crazy farmers day. Sun is up so umbrella and sunblock is packed.

Video of Adora BatBrat's view

Everyday I have movie-like action going on from my balcony. It's very exciting!
(This is a "secret" video and can't be found via youtube search)

My goth make up

I have no idea when this is from, but it failed to be published so I'm giving it a new try :)

Billboard

A week after I was in the paper I recieved a huge poster with me on; apparently I was on the billboards the Saurday the paper came out.
I'm so happy I was away in another town that whole day so I didn't know about it until a week later. Can you imagine going out on town seeing this HUGE billboard of your face all over town? Far away from subtle...even though I'm cool with myself, I'm only that cool about myself in my goth environment!

Since neither me, or my husband, knew about my billboard action I wanted to shock him so I hang it on our front door just minutes before he arrived.
Not a word!?
I had to ask him if he really missed seeing that HUGE poster of me?!
He just stood quiet...then he wondered why I had put up the interview of me on our front door? Gah, stupid (but, oh so cute)! I had to explain it was not the paper but a billboard from Saturday. He looked even more confused and ran to the door to see if it was true - then he laughed so hard, me as well! So crazy!

Duck tea

Although I'm a true carnivore I have never tried animal tea, and as I saw this rubber duck tea dispenser I just had to have it to be able to say I have duck tea for breakfast!

This is so "me"!
I bought it at Lagerhaus for 49 SEK.

Gothenburg Wednesday

I had a banana milkshake (my all-time favourite) at noon, then we went to the History of Nature museum where I met several of my kids; the bats.

We, just us 5, even got a special tour to see the Siamese twins in formalin. It wax very cool to have seen. Thank you so much for the private tour :)

Now we're back home again. LOVE my bed<3

Gothenburg Thuesday

Found a habitat that matched me perfectly. Gonna stay here a while.

Gothenburg Tuesday

Visited the dinosaur exhibit at Universeum and meet a friend almost as old as me.

Gothenburg Tuesday

Our incredible color matched kids.

I gave them a theme just so they would be easy to spot in a crowd and this is their interpretation.

They turned out so cool! They are the best!

Cat Show

Porsche and I got the cage next to a lovely lady, C, who actually had a kitten from Porsche (real name S*Bergbackens Mangas Poseidon), a pretty Seychellois named S*Tetrafelines AbraCadabra (Fiffi).

But she was not there for the show.
Instead C brought with her 2 of the most lovely orientals ever seen. One of them competed in Porsches category (seen with Porsches daughter on top), and for the first time I thought this would be a tough match!

Porsches competitor; "Tiger"

First me and Porsche won our CAP (Certificat d' Aptitude de Premier) and the judge told us to stay put because he wanted us or "Tiger" (S*Sandvretens Loch Lomond) to go to panel as best neuter male.

Ohh, what a nervous moment! Last year that happened too, and we won the whole shebang!
This is from when we first got him in November 2010.
He's become so much lighter since he moved into our nice, warm flat.

From last years winning at the Cat Show.
The judge was amazed by Porsches excellent and perfect triangular shape of the head, the excellent contrast in his fur, his condition, his long, muscular body as his temper - but still we lost this beauty competition to "Tiger" :(
But it was a close call, and the owner that was also my cage neighbour, was really surprised to have won over "the amazing Porsche" (as she called him). She would have never thought, she said, but was really happy to have had a real competition for once :)

Bit sad we lost - but since I also thought this was a very good competiter to us, I was not disappointed. Tiger is a very handsome cat.
Next year we will reform our troups and win!
This particular judge; Gianfranco Mantovani from Italy, just had a different credential than our judge from last year who was even more blown away by pretty Porsche and made him the winner!
There is still the racial standard to follow as they do their judgement and we did score Excellent 1 CAP, so we had at least 97 points out of 100!
Porsche got a nice cocarde and he had many fans over the day who got up to us just to see the famous Porsche "live". He is even more famous than me!!! It seemed like EVERY breeder in the place knew about Porsche and was a huge fan of him <3And it was not just his impeccable looks they admired, but also his wonderful personality.
I'm just proud to be the one taking him home. He really is as beautiful on his inside as on the outside.

Now we will relax for a year and if the kids want to have him at the Cat Show in Kalmar next year again, we'll go I suppose :)

And I got to say: my lovely cage neighbour, C, served me fake Champagne and "smörgårtårta" afterwards. What a winner! Thank's C for being such a friendly neighbour :)
