Goth charity shopping

Found myself at the Red Cross charity shop when I was about to shop for salmon. Strange indeed.
The plates was only 1 SEK each, coffee set 5 SEK and big flask 20 SEK.
(1 SEK = $0.13)
What do do with this stuff then?
The flask will of course get some kind of Goth Halloween label on it, and the rest of the stuff will be used at our weekend breakfasts.
I have been missing a red cup to match everything. Can't wait until Saturday now!

My window view: Fall

I'm a blessed Goth having this view.
This makes me wanna drink chai tea and chat about some boring old book I should have read - you know, like "normal" people do...
Instead I'm thinking about the beauty in dead body's laying in the forest. Slightly blue lips and eyes looking right at me. Well, I'm just Goth I guess...

Saturday Goth: interior design, folding and swimming

Man,I hate laundry days!
Crafting: Dollhouse
I finally put up the second wallpaper in the "blue room".
Can't take credit for the cool mix of wallpapers though, since the kids picked them out from my computer. The blue trees looks so cool.
I wanna be tiny and live there.
Now it's just the floor left, it will probably be a white wooden floor of some kind.
Crafting dollhouse things is just the best! I'm one hooked dollhouse goth..

Halloween make up last year

Mercy! The clock is ticking - it's almost Halloween again.
Last year I was the classic broken doll. I felt way too cute and not scary so I'll try change that for this year.

Two pink haired girls got together
I've seen this girl I felt I just had to meet since I find her so inspiring and bubbly (and super pretty of course).
And to my great surprise she wanted to meet me too!!!
It was such a wonderful meeting (for me anyway!) and she was so energetic, sweet hearted and open the way she talked to me.
To me it felt like a kindred spirit in a way. And she was so smart and humble. I've just been smiling since we meet. She is truly an inspiration and I very much hope to meet her again.
My husband said we we're just like sisters since we were so alike inside our minds <3
To Swedish people she is well recognized as the Goth contestant in Sweden's Top model - although she didn't score first place in the show she is the most recognized and most seen model since the show (AND she's Goth) so she's the winner according to me!
And right now you can watch her in Sweden's version of Project Runway where she really shows her talent.
Can you tell I'm all happy about meeting her?!
And coolest of all - she wants to get fangs like me :)
But now I'm home from my "Stockholm tour" and is safely back home again.
Sweet dreams everyone.
Hotel breakfast
After an 8 hour sleep I woke up still as tired as usual...darn.
Went downstairs to meet the fab breakfast buffet.
I said hello to most of the dishes and invited them over to my plate.
I treated them with respect and ate them all. Need I say my belly almost bursted?
Had a tea as well.
I think I got good value for my money :)
Then we went to Stockholm city by tube.

BatBrat kids

Friday!
My baby bats got homemade cinnamon buns (just remembered I forgot to share the recipe!) and hot chocolate with whipped cream for their afternoon break today.
TeeBee looks like an old English lady the way he holds his teacup ;)
And darling Fairlight with her braided blue Kanekalon hair she's nagged me about for 3 weeks....

Todays make up
When I was done with the make up and put on my coif I took a look in the mirror and thought I looked so French!
The dots and things under my eyes looked like the Eiffel tower all of a sudden.

Todays look: Parental meeting
Today was parental meeting.
Of course I toned down the Goth me and went as a more respectable.... hahaha, did you really think that?!
I went as the usual goth me of course.
I often get the question about how I'm treated by the other parents looking the way I do?
And the answer is: I feel like I'm treated like any parent, not different in any way. I never feel like I'm looked down on or someone frowning at the way I've decided to present myself. I find people in general are very respectful and don't mind my looks.
Or it's just that the people who's got something bad to say just don't live that long?
Not that I would have something to do about it, but I could imagine someone with sharp teeth would take the chance to delete a few uncomfortable people from my area.

Todays look and goth make up
.

Porsche, my price winning International Champion siamese cat, joined in on the photo.

Pretty Cajsa and me at Wayne's Coffee, where we both ordered tea as we chit-chatted about how our looks makes the world a prettier place to live in. You don't have to thank us :)

I had on a spiderweb shirt, a sequin skirt (one I bought, cut off and added a ruffled lace) and my spiderweb stockings.

Nice touch with the garbage chute to the left...

Spiderweb make up today. And a soft, silvery shade all the way to the eyebrows.
Web painted with Kryolan Cake Eye liner and CEL sealer.

Lashes only on end.

Ahh, what a lovely day I've had <3 p="p">Like my new pillow? It's from H&M.

BatBrat company

I'm making a pair of legwarmers with a cross and an organza bow on each to be put in the webshop tomorrow.
I sew so hard I broke off the needle!
During all of my years of sewing I have NEVER broken a needle while hand stitching! By machine? Sure, like a thousand times. But this was the first.
I think I'm in some kind of shock now..
Not to worry - no blood was spilled (sadly).
Crafting: Bread basket

At my break I had a cup of tea and painted the second coat of my basket I bought for 5 sek (less than a $) last week.
I'll turn it into a little bread basket.
Perhaps I can put my cinnamon buns in it when it's done :)

Baking: Cinnamon bun Day Part 2
Depending on your inner temperature they might need some more yeasting. They should about double in size.
![]() |
| After 30-45 minutes yeasting "the professioonal way" (in OFF oven with a pot of boiling water at bottom) your buns are HUGE! |
![]() |
| Brush them lightly with egg mixture (1 egg, 1 tablespoon of water and ½ teaspoon of salt). Pour on heavily with pearl sugar. |
![]() |
| Toss them in your oven. |

| Eat, eat, EAT! |
