Modelling: Nox Hyde

Gothic cat ears?
Well, I can't hide my weakness to cat ears.
I don't know why, and it's probably not goth at all, but I always feel so pretty wearing cat ears.

Perhaps I like the feeling being a tad like the smooth killing machines they are underneath that purring, cute appearance.
Hiss!

I thought I was some kind of genius when I made my own version of cat ears...but only until I layed eyes on an Etsy designer called Nox Hyde. I felt so ashamed abou my own clumsy made cat ears when I saw them...
And now I have my own private set!
I LOVE them! And even more - I was asked to model for Nox Hyde.
Me so proud.

They are easy to attach and in my package was a headband and a bunch or hairpins included.

I like to pin them straight to the hair instead of having a headband, that way it looks more "real" I think.

I usually tease the hair underneath just a bit and then hold the ear in position as I lock it with hairpins from different angles. This way they don't slip at all during the day.

And you can position them any way you want to get different expressions. Cuteness overload!

Here's my super fast version of making your own goth cat ears:

Todays make up

You know the feeling when you just love your face - I had that today!I felt so Adora BatBrat <3
I'm quite happy about how I turned out today <3
The cute girls at daycare said I had my prettiest moment ever today. I even heard the word "princess".
They were most intrigued by my one green eye. How is that possible?! they said.

My own kids are never impressed.. -Mhm, so you have your lens on today *gasp*. What's for dinner?
Kind off like that.

Spotted on etsy.com - goth bat "toy"

I love when I find lovely goth objects I didn't know existed.
This is just TOO cute!!!!! A true helper for you to lure kids to the goth dark side.
My heart is melting just seeing this little bat critter named Festina <3
Here is the direct link to buy this little baby.
She is handmade by Eliza Bolli on etsy. $49.00 USD.
Just like me she likes tea and daytime naps! Wouldn't you just wanna tuck her in your bed at night, put her on your work desk at daytime and tickle her as you bring her to the nearest library for playtimes?

BatBrat design

Here's one of the first plates I made.

I love it!

It holds 60 degrees Celsius in the washing machine without problem.

I have made a few others (different text) before, but now my confidence is up and I will actually make a few for my (so far empty) etsy.com.

Gothic item: Octupus lamp

In my mind I live in a wonderful, scary castle filled with amazing designed goth items (instead of this white, white and white apartment mostly designed to carry as much stuff in the smallest area possible).

GetBentMetal on Etsy.com. Price: $1,500.00 CAD Buy it HERE.
In my "mind home" this lamp will have a certain place.
Sure, a "bit" costly, but to my fortune, my mind home also carries a huge "mind account".
I love this idea! I'm not a huge octupus fan in general, but this I just can't resist!
It got all of it's 8 arms wrapped around me!

Reader Recommendation: Nordlicht

I just LOVE when my fellow bats sees something adorable and send the tips straigh to me!
Lovely Nordlicht got the "subtile" message that I have a flair for princess crowns and as she was out hunting for whatever scary thing on Etsy.com she saw this scary sweet crown and immediately thought of me!
Isn't that just the sweetest?!

Crown by Etsy designer Noxhyde $59.99. Made of leather.
Are to be fastened by bobby pins.
Of course I love it! It's so EVIL!
The designer of this creation is Noxhyde.
She's got these lovely cat ears as well. $39.99.
Really brings shame to my old DIY ones! *bit embarassed now*
They have long stitches underneath that you put the bobby pins in.
But since I'm a crafting person myself I will try to make my own. I love this idea! But I will probably add hair clips to them. Just don't have the time to fuck round with bobby pins in the morning...

Spotted on etsy.com - Whore/Slut/Bitch tea cups

I saw a picture of some lovely tea cups that would look fab in my house.
Just saw a picture, no link or name.
But after some serious googling I think I found the origin, an etsy designer named Trixie Delicious.
She's got a whole bunch of funny little mugs and plates with things written on them.

So, the idea might not be new, I used an old blue and white plate and wrote "bajs" on it in artclass at school (bajs=poop) when I was 12. I used it for brown cookies.
It was fun because with the cookies on noone could see the word, but once the cookies were gone...
It's dead since many years, but this awoke my interest again and I will make my own set of something similar again.

Bring out your porcelain colors and go to second hand shops and create your own set of china!
Or just buy from Trixie Delicious!

I will make something goth like: dead, killed, strangled, stabbed, murdered, poisoned or something like that.
Goth, dark, bat, ghostly, deadly, asylum, mental hospital, vampire, spiderweb and other good goth-words might come in handy! Wanna create now!
No, no, I need to go to sleep.

And tomorrow morning I will make something (else, not with porselain colors) special for someone I love <3 Think it will look fab!
Can't wait to finish it so I can give it away!

Modelling Freyagushi

The second Freyagushi picture is done!
It looks so special <3
The photographer Izaskun Gonzalez made the surroundings and me look like something from a movie. And the sweet cage dress and matching hairbow designed by Freyagushi was so nice wearing. I loved it! The shirt and cuffs was also her pretty design.
I think it looks so sweet!
I'm so proud finally modelling for Freyagushi, I have admired her work for years.
Wihhooo for me!

Todays outfit

My hat week continues!

I'm wearing a hat made of designer Ruby Rouge of London. It was a custum made gift <3
Hat is a perfect goth item. Most of us have pretty, pretty well designed hats - but we rarely take them for a stroll. Poor things.
All beautiful and noone to admire them.

When I have newly colored hair I don't want to wear crowns or hats, because I want people to see the perfect result, but as the growth keeps showing, the more I tend to wear stuff in the hair.
Hats are just delightful and covers up a nasty growth so you can wait another two weeks to bleach.
I should bleach every 6'th week, but I always try to wait until 8 weeks have passed by, just to be nice to the hair.
And having an official hat week is just so smart (I'm so smart, I'm so clever), because now many of them comes to use a bit more often than just a few times a year. Whihooo, my hats says!

And yes, I know I should paint my neck as well to avoid this "mime-face", but I don't really give a rats ass. I want to be pale in the face, that's it. I do think people might have an idea about the fact I'm not really that pale anyway, so I have no urge to try and fool them. Otherwise I'd have to cover my whole body in make up since I'm often wearing less clothes.
Lovely fingerless gloves with a heart shaped hole. Swedish E-Bay.
I love heartsy stuff!
What is this for a stupid burlesque pose? I'm goth, God dammit!
Fantastic necklace by Pinkabsinthe $25.00. Buy here.
Hat: Ruby Rouge (she's no longer active as a designer. So sad...)

Where's my poison?!

I've been so sad lately :(
I'm caught in a Catch 22.
I'm so sad I want to drink poison, and the reason for me being sad is I lost my Poison Necklace... see the complication?
But yesterday was a wondeful day when I all of a sudden found my lovely necklace (halsband, for those who wanna learn Swedish)!! It had moved in with one of my rosarys!

Picture borrowed from BB Catsy's Allison. Price for this lovely thing: $10.00
I was so happy, the birds were singing and a rainbow appeared outside my window (or perhaps in my deranged mind) and I was just about to put this lovely thing on when goth depression struck!
The poison had dried, and left was just an empty poison bottle. Buuu-ahhhh-haa-huuuhhh, me so saaaaad...
Me so saaad I want to drink poison, but what the hell? There is no poison for me to drínk.
God hates me.

Easter on etsy.com

Soon it's easter, one of those fantastic holidays that involves killing people. It's also a big crafting holiday. I've started on some faux sugar eggs.

Don't forget those wonderful crafters at etsy.com.
If you are no good at crafting, and rather sit on your own hands until they are numb and then put them in a mixer than sit down in the company of glitter, paint, scissors, ribbons, bows and lace you can just buy already made things that also looks fantastic!!
And if you are sneaky (like we all should be) just say you made it yourself when old grandma Henny asks about the admirable center piece. Works like a charm!
And to remember this fantastic man who suffered on the cross to same humanity (to have something to feed on), the first vampire ever - Jesus, you might consider buying this fab jewellry.
You can read about my thesis on Jesus being a vampire HERE.

A poison flask necklace

After I told you people about Allison's delicious poison flask she did put them on etsy for you to buy for $8.00 USD!
She was even nice enough to give me one for free since I put it up here - that is just too cute <3 I can't wait to get it! Just can't decide on what color... you can choose between black, green, red and yellow. I think I'll go with black...but I might just buy a red and green one later...

A poison flask necklace

One of my Facebook friends made this fantastic neckless! What goth wouldn't wear this?! Allison Hausner on FB - perhaps she's got them for sale?
