London 2011 - The trip, Day 1, part I

Me and Jenni crawled out of our coffins while it was still dark outside.
We tippitoed around eachother to get the best mirror view to be able to put on our vampire protect-make up.

Oh, perhaps you didn't know? That it is the make up that enables me to be out in the daylight without melting? Consider yourseft enlighten.

Left with some drama: Where's the fucking key?! Where's the passport?!
All that drama was made by my wonderful sister. I always keep my head cool (yeah, keep telling yourself that Queen of all Dramas).
10 points - we nailed the first tram we were supposed to!
Arrived at the Central Station where we had to wait for the airport bus.
Nooo stress. Nice and easy.
So unusual for me. I'm always doing things the last minute, and my dear, smart sister likes to be well in time. For me I'm pleased with just arriving 20 sec. before trains/busses leaves. It's a matter of being on time, not how far in time you are ;)
When we arrived at the airport it was time to collect the MONEY!!! Oh, how I love money.
I love it so much you will get 3 pictures of me with the MONEY!
Time to go through the Security check.
As usual we both know we better remove as much on us as possible, always the shoes as well...but still we beeps..and this day was no exclusion.
Both me and Jenni got a nice rub of our complete bodys (I totally recommend the Security check massage), and then they used the mobile beeper on us.
And where did I beep? In my hair and....my belly button! This was before the surgery so perhaps I had some junk in there?
Jenni beeped in her hair as well - and in her butt!! We have no idea why, but it was a nice moment :)

Jenni's getting a hair massage by the Security check at the airport.
We recommend!
And off into the air where we both fell asleep since it was such a loooooong trip to London (1 hour and 40 minutes). When we arrived we had the best of luck, then some fun snob moments.
But all that will follow in London 2011 - The trip, Day 1, part II.

Spotted on etsy.com - Whore/Slut/Bitch tea cups

I saw a picture of some lovely tea cups that would look fab in my house.
Just saw a picture, no link or name.
But after some serious googling I think I found the origin, an etsy designer named Trixie Delicious.
She's got a whole bunch of funny little mugs and plates with things written on them.

So, the idea might not be new, I used an old blue and white plate and wrote "bajs" on it in artclass at school (bajs=poop) when I was 12. I used it for brown cookies.
It was fun because with the cookies on noone could see the word, but once the cookies were gone...
It's dead since many years, but this awoke my interest again and I will make my own set of something similar again.

Bring out your porcelain colors and go to second hand shops and create your own set of china!
Or just buy from Trixie Delicious!

I will make something goth like: dead, killed, strangled, stabbed, murdered, poisoned or something like that.
Goth, dark, bat, ghostly, deadly, asylum, mental hospital, vampire, spiderweb and other good goth-words might come in handy! Wanna create now!
No, no, I need to go to sleep.

And tomorrow morning I will make something (else, not with porselain colors) special for someone I love <3 Think it will look fab!
Can't wait to finish it so I can give it away!

Halloween 2011: Broken glass cupcakes by Sarah Kelley

I've always used real broken glass to decorate my scary cupcakes.
I must confess, the guests have been complaining and my white linen table cloths have been washed a lot.

Sarah Kelley's lovely dangerous Broken Glass Cupcakes
So when I got sent this recepie for fake glass by Sarah Kelley  I said "-Ahaaa, so that was what I was supposed to do?"
Made me feel a bit stupid actually...

Sarah Kelly was nice enough to share her skills with me and the readers.
So, with no further ado - here's her fake broken glass recipe:

Bloody Broken Glass Cupcakes
Cupcakes-pick your favorite cupcake recipe and bake them.
Adora's cupcake recipe.

Broken Glass/Sugar Glass
• 2 cups water
• 1 cup light corn syrup
• 3 1/2 cups white sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions:Mix 2 cups water, 1 cup corn syrup, white sugar, and cream of tartar
in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Use a candy thermometer and boil sugar syrup until temperature reaches 300 degrees F, or 149 degrees C
(hard ball), stirring constantly. The mixture will thicken as water evaporates. When sugar reaches 300 (or 149) degrees, quickly pour onto a large metal baking pan. Cool until completely hardened. Break into "shards" using a meat mallet.

Blood:-all i used for the blood was a few drops of red food dye onto the
tips of the sugar shards to make it run down. You can also put a few
drops of food dye into light corn syrup with a sprinkle of water as
well.

Thank you so very much Sarah Kelley!
What a sweet contribution <3

Other versions of the Broken Glass Cupcake.
But I still think Sarah Kelley's looks the best!

Goth home slippers

A nice reader tipped me about this goth web shop: GoodGoth.com
And see what a nice pair of home china flats/slippers they had!
I would never go out in such flat shoes, but to wear at home they would be sooooo sweet.
Batty feet! Some glitter and a bow on top and they will be so Adora!

Modelling Freyagushi

The second Freyagushi picture is done!
It looks so special <3
The photographer Izaskun Gonzalez made the surroundings and me look like something from a movie. And the sweet cage dress and matching hairbow designed by Freyagushi was so nice wearing. I loved it! The shirt and cuffs was also her pretty design.
I think it looks so sweet!
I'm so proud finally modelling for Freyagushi, I have admired her work for years.
Wihhooo for me!

Modelling Freyagushi couture

Todays outfit

I've been out for the first time since Thursday, when I had my surgery done.
I put on my faux fur coat I bought in London, put on some new diva shades and spangle tights and went out.
I felt so UCG (Upper Class Goth)!
So what if the coat costed like $57 and the diva glasses were on sale for $7!
UCG isn't supposed to cost a fortune, just to look like it did ;)
Then you can put up a BIG mo-ha-haaa, just like I did.

London 2011 - The trip to Gothenburg.

Last Tuesday I had a train ticket to Gothenburg, to stay at my sisters until Wednesday morning when we're about to leave for London.
Monday I asked my travel planner at what time the train left the next day, and he said 16.26.
Next day I had all of my packing in a big pile in my bed when the cute husband got home feeling sick and disturbed my already messy brain. NOOOO! It's not fair!
As time went on I'd figured it was time to double check the exact time. The clock was now 15.43. And - Ohh noo! It left at 15.32!
I missed the train!
16.26 was when it left from the next change station. Gahhh...
My husband said; if you leave within 2 minutes you can make it by car to the next change station.
Now I know I should not trust anyone who's sick...
I shoveled everything into my bag and took a run for it (I might have tossed one of the kids in as well)...and still missed the train with 3 minutes...
Fortunately there was a first class seat on the next train (sounds UCG, but it was cheaper than 2'nd class), leaving within an hour. I figured I could drive the car half way back to my hometown and get the train there so my parents in law didn't have to go so far to collect it the next day.
I had an hour, and the trip itself would take me about 35 minutes. No sweat!
Well, that is, if you are not me...

First off I couldn't find my way out of that godforsaken town, and ended up at the same place 3 times before getting it right! Now I was down to 45 minutes...
And I also had to fill the tank before leaving the car.
The tank light went on. And just in time I arrived to the right town and I found a petrol vendor! 10 minutes left.
I have not refueled a car for at least 6 years, and that time I got help.
Did I mention I used to be blonde?

I tried to think about how my husband usually does this kind of things and I remembered what side of the car I had the gas cap so I placed the car on the right side.
I called my father in law just to make sure what kind of petrol to give Miss Brown (my SAAB's name). Opened the gas cap from inside the car.
I walked out with a big coinfidence!

But then everything went downhill. I really wish there would be a camera following me around sometimes because I feel like my life is filled with total blonde moments...

I carefully watched the old man in front of me and as it was my turn, I followed the written instructions (pretending as I didn't read them) and put in my husbands card. I thought I was on a roll!
Bling! Message on the screen: "You are not authorized to do this. Remove card." I use this card all the time, I'm authorized!
Tried it once more. Same shit!
Old man starts looking at me. I had to ask if I was using the right machine. Evidentially I was.
Hmm, so, okay, perhaps I'm supposed to put the petrol tube-thingy into the hole before it works?
Put the thingy into the hole then back to the machine. Same shit.
I had to put myself through the embarassment of going into the petrol station. Even more embarassing was there was a sweet young, bit alternative girl, working there, and she had a friend there as well. Oh my, the laughter that would follow!
"-Hi, I'm so sorry, but I need some help to fill my car with petrol, I'm not sure how to do it?".
"-Sure!", the nice girl said and followed me out.
"-First you need to remove the petrol tube handle from your car and put it back where it belongs."
"-Heh...yeah...I was just trying out something new..."
I put in "my" card and inserted the digits. Again that evil machine gave me the same answer!
"-Ahhh", the sweet girl said, "now I remember, another guy had the same problem earlier today, there is something with the connection to the bank that failes".
"-So, it's not ME!!!?" I was doing line dancing inside my brain. I'm not stupid, I'm not stupid!!!
I tried with my own card - AND it worked!
The girl went inside, and I could feel her and her friend following my every move. Shape up, Adora!

Choose the right petrol, put in the petrol thingy and squeezed the handle. Petrol 98 went were it should. I felt like I should get a diploma or something!
100 SEK and stop. Put back the petrol thingy to the machine and got back to the car.
Then I started thinking (always a bad idea if you are me). How did the machine know I just filled the car for 100 SEK since I put in and then removed the card before filling the tank? Perhaps there was like a limit, like you always need to fill for 300 SEK, and I didn't know that and would leave without filling what's mine?
I had to get back to the store.
I can swear they had a hard time not to burst into laughter.
I asked my stupid question and she said the card knew how much I filled, and if I wanted a receipt I just had to put in my card again and press the receipt button.
"-Oh!" so I did. Asked where the train station was (5 minutes left) and it was just nextdoor to the petrol station.
Jumped in to the car like a jolly sailor just getting his first tattoo.
I figured I was being watched so I leaned forward and gave the girls a wave goodbye. They waved back.
Drove like 2 meters when I remembered I forgot to close the gas cap.
I thought I would die of embarassment!
Stopped once more, ran around the car and closed the damn thing.
Got back into the car, gave the girls thumbs up and drowe away. Finally!!!!

But, no, noo, there was still some more embarassment ahead. Sigh.

Drove around the curve, and there to the left was the station.
On the way in there was a woman on her way out from the station, totally blocking my way in since she was on the wrong side of the road. I gave her a sign to drive out in front of me since sha had such a stupid position, and she signed me back I should go first - so I did.
But just as I drove around her I saw a big sign that said it was forbidden entrance that way.
Oh, so that's what she tried to tell me!
I had to do a turn around her, let her drive first and then go in the right way. I couldn't help but to LOL.
Worst thing about having green hair is that the lady will forever remember this.

Parked, hoisted out the 15 kilo bag, went to the platform with 2 minutes to go.
Train arrived just in time. Got on and looked forward to the 3½ hour ride to Gothenburg.
There was no more trouble this day.
On the train I had time to work on a poster me and my friend L wanted to make for a competition. There was no internet on board so I had to settle with what I got in my computer. We only had bits and pieces of the idea, so I had to do as good as I could. 3 hours later I was done, and it's not as good as we had hoped for, but considering the amount of time we had to make it, I think it works. At least we have something for the competition even if we won't win. Keep fingers crossed for us :)

Arrived at Gothenburg train station and my bubbly, übercute sister Iva Insane was there to greet me! How I missed her! Huggies all around <3
As we started to walk out from the station, one man with a big rolling bag came from the left in high speed, and from right there was another man also dragging a bag, also in high speed.
You see what's coming, right?!
3 meters in front of us there was a big KABOOOOM! It was horrible to watch!
Often people have collided when looking at me and my sister. But this was like something out of a comedy!
They crashed into eachother in such high speed their arms just flew forward and they almost bounced off eachother in the opposite direction!
We couldn't help but laughing, and I actually went up to them and apologized, saing it was obvious our fault.
Where's that camera man when you need him?!
Got back to my sisters place. As usual told the ghosts and spirits to get the fuck out of there since I don't welcome them (read about the damn ghost here) and then repacked everything to see what I missed. Nothing but shower gel. Sweet.
Hit the sack at 00.30.
No ghosts disturbed my dreams this time.
..and this reminds me I should continue last years London tales. Wow, I'm amazed of how fast my brain seems to work!

Friday Special: Iva Insane

Long time no see, but I've been busy with a lot of stuff like work and a trip to London together with my sis <3 As soon I get better from my illness (It makes me soooo tired) I will update you about our crazy trip :D

Today I'm gonna gonna let you guys know which make up products I use to be an UCG (Upper Class Goth).

I buy most of my make up at Make Up Store, because it's one of the few good labels we have here in Sweden. We have M.A.C. as well, but I've never been a big fan of their products (Don't kill me now, please!)

I like Make Up Stores microshadows because they have a lot of nice colours to choose from. It's like being in a candy store for me!
Their black microshadow named "pollution" is a matte eyeshadow that works fine if you like to have a smokey eye look.
I always use a transparent eye-primer (from MUS as well) on my eyelid before I apply the eyeshadow. It makes the color more intensive and let it stays on forever!
If I'm in the mood to have a more shiny and sparkling type of smokey eyes I put some eyeshadow named "Cinderella" from M.A.C. on top of my black eyeshadow "pollution". The eyeshadow named "Cinderella" comes in, silver, dark blue or purple glitter.
As eyeliner I use a really cheap one from H&M, but I think it works fine! It only cost like 5 euro, so your wallet will be happy as well :) I buy different types of mascaras from time to time, but I'm very particular to buy a volume mascara though.
To paint my eyebrows I always use a black eye brown-pencil first, and then fill them in with an eye-liner.

I think you've already heard about "Kryolan" from my sisters make up-tips, and I'm a big fan of their products as well!
They have a lot of different types of foundations to choose from, and their prices are from under 20 euro up to 50 euros.
As powder I use IsaDoras compact powder (nr 10) most of the time, but since we were in London I totally fell in love with Illamasquas Foundation and powder foundation! I got quite disappointed of the products at first, but when I got home from London and applied the products with my brushes it just turned out fantastic! I Give Illamasqua ten starts!

I don't use to wear blush often, but last week when I was in London and borrowed my sisters blush "Chic" from Make Up Store, I actually started to like it!
And since I bought one today, I think I'll make my sister proud ;P
With my round babyface and apple-cheeks I will look more like a doll. It doesn't matter what I do, I always turn out "cute" with any make up I wear.
How the hell will I manage to look like a evil bitch?! Haha, you never get pleased of what you get, right?
Here is a list of the products you should go and buy immediately!
*Eye shadows- Most from make Up store & some of them from M.A.C. cosmetics.
*Eyeliner- H&M
*Foundation- Illamasqua or Kryolan
*Powder- Illamasqua or IsaDora
*Eyebrown pencil -IsaDora
*Lipstick- Make Up Store or Viva la Diva (I love their black one!)
*Glitter- Make Up Store
*Eye lashes- Definitely from Kryolan! (and then you can modify them on your own)

Hope you all get a nice weekend!
Much love/ Iva Insane
********************************************************************
Adora here!
..and once again we got a fantastic Friday Special by Iva Insane, the worlds most beautiful girl <3 Thank's sis!
I have to agree with all of the above.

And; YES! I'm very proud getting you hooked on Chic blush :)
You look so cute in it..I mean, you look so scary and evil ;)
(I always wanna look like a doll and be cute all the time, but I tend to look harsh and evil and my sister hates being cute, and would love to look cool and evil. I'd kill for her pretty doll face!).
I use the same products, but I rarely make the upper lids smokey, I like my sharp eyeliner edge most of the time, but I do like to smoke it under my eyes.

A big problem I used to have was black shadow and eyeliner falling down on my cheeks during the day. I solved it by using Kryolan Cake Eye liner together with Cake Eye liner sealer (makes a waterproof eyeliner). Or as my sister, a transparent primer together with the eye shadow will make the darn thing stay put.
I always use the primer when I want to have a very white shadow or a sweet black.
I'm also a fan of Kryolan products and use Kryolan Ultra foundation TV-white 2 or the new Kryolan product I'm testing for my webshop, a stick. And so far I'm a total fan!
I also bought Illamasqua foundation and powder when in London, but have not been able to try it out yet.

The plan with my webshop is to be able to buy all the (tested and approved) products I wear, in just one place. So far I'm only a Kryolan reseller but I'll add more.
I also think Viva la Diva's black lipstick is super.
And their black glitter eye shadow.
And the only M.A.C. product I use is their Fluidline; Blacktrack. It's a waterproof eyeliner that I use on the inside of the lower lid (waterline?). It last me a day.
H&M eyeliner is what I use to do my dots. I push it very hard to make the point bigger so I can have the dots I like. As eyeliner I only use Kryolan's Cake liner and M.A.C. fluidline.

Love,
A

"..we're not all Adora BatBrat, and that's OK."

This line I found randomly!
It's from another blog: The Ultimate Goth Guide, and here's the part where I'm mentioned at the bottom.
I think that was a cute comment, it made me feel kind of special.
("-Yeah, Adora is a "special" child", my pediatrician said to my parents...).

A couple of months after giving birth to Synthia, our 1'st child. 2003.
From the guest post "Is Goth a lifestyle?" 10 april 2011
"I consider myself one of those 24/7 Gothy types - if I don't bother to Goth-up in the a.m. (although I have casual days like everybody else) I feel unconfident and just, well, not me. However, trying to adjust every area of your life to make it 'more Goth' borders on silly mallgoth territory, and a T-shirt-and-jeans-day won't actually kill you. As Amy says, it depends on what Goth does for you as to how much you want to involve it in your everyday life. In other words, we're not all Adora BatBrat, and that's OK."

And dear God, I really hope noone else is just like me! Poor goths..
Well, actually there is 8 Adora's, and we all lives inside the same body ;)

Surgery on my bellybutton

I used to have the cutest little bellybutton.

First pregnancy destroyed the pretty little thing, but I had to wait until ALL of our kids were born until I could fix it.
I had surgery done, not of cosmetic reasons but because I had a hole in the stomach that needed to be sewn together.
When I removed the bandage I got a chock - it looked like a pigs snout! Even my friends laughed at me..
I could stand the oinking but it also started to hurt. Not in my heart, but in my tummy.
Everytime I had something tight around my belly, a skirt or a corset, it was like someone attacked me with 2 needles straight to the b.b. I couldn't do situps either.
I complained at the doctor who did the surgery and he said the problem was me beeing to skinny, having no fat to cover my b.b. Lots of bs if you ask me!

Finally another doctor took me serious and promised to perform another surgery to see what's wrong .
Today I got an open spot and had a surgery when I was awake. I was so afraid and he really had to dig deep.
But whiihooo! he found lots of left over stitches that should not have been there. He cut them out and hopefully I'll be wearing corsets soon again! I'm in pain right now, but hopefully no more.

Before todays surgery
The things found inside of me (not the knife though)
After surgery
I wonder what awful surprise will show when I remove the bandage. Hopefully it will be a cute little belly button again <3
I'm bleeding like crazy and hope I will (not) wake up in blood tomorrow.

Back from London!!!

Me and my fab sister are back from our London tour.
We had a blast! We meet so many fab people (thank's Facebook, and pretty goth guys hooking up with random Swedish stray goths in Camden). We had a lovely photoshoot with the talented Freyagushi as well.
Here's the first picture of me from the Freyagushi shoot:
Tomorrow I'll start from the beginning of the London trip. Starting with me almost missing the whole shebang...

My sisters Birthday today!

My pretty sister Iva Insane turns 24 today!!!
Happy Birthday, and may all your birthday wishes come true <3
Last year today we were in London together, at Torture Garden to be exact. Having a swell time I might add.
This year we'll leave for London 3 days after.

My sister and I have the same father, and I have the fortune of having her mom as an extra mom, but I still have my "own" mom as well.
My mom and dad fell out of love when I was 3 years old, and both found new living partners.
I grew up with my mom and her husband, and visited my father and his sweet wife Berith (called Beda) every other weekend.
My father and his wife tried to have a child of their own for many, many years, but nothing happened. But about 10 years after they met they finally did it.
I was 15 when I "got" my sister. I was in school, and I knew what day and time I was supposed to get me some baby sister or brother because it was a complicated pregnancy and it was a planned cesarean section at 10 o'clock (if I'm not mistaken) the 1'st October 1987.
My whole class knew I was about to get a sibling that day.
All of a sudden the headmaster shouted out in the speaker: "-Ann-Sophie Wernersson (that was my name by the time) to the expedition!"
I jumped up like I was sitting on a burning chair and shouted out "¨-My sibling is born!!! and ran for the expedition.
I can't remember if it was my father or his wife who made the call but I remeber them saying it was a girl.
Wihooo, just what I had hoped for!
And we'll leave it at that for this time :)

Love,
A

Friday Special: Iva Insane

Someone is getting one year older tomorrow *hint hint*
Twenty four years old! How the h*ll could the time slip
away THAT fast?! It doesn't feel like it was long time ago
since I played with Barbies, My little ponies, Turtles and
got my first homework from school.
I have been doing a lot of things since I was born, but I want
to do at least as much before I'm turning to an old hag with
wrinkles and grey hair.
I finished the public school and the Upper secondary school
superbly, I won the Swedish championship for hairdressers and
represented Sweden in the European professional mastership,
I have won the Swedish and European hair-competitions
a couple of times, Started a successful limited company....
It can be a long list, but in this writing moment I notice
that my life only deals with my career and success. I actually
think it's a good thing that I start to care about my own
well-being.;)

If I dream away and plan my birthday as I wish
I would have spend a free day from work together with someone
I loved. It had been lovely to wake up with a kiss and get
fresh coffee served.
I had enjoyed an interesting documentary at the television
meanwhile I'm having breakfast, take a walk in the yellow
leaves outside, going to a museum or a place I've never been
to before, go to the cinema, have a coffee at a cosy café and
been eating at a restaurant together in the evening.
I know that my birthday not gonna be as the one I dream of
since I don't have any boyfriend who can kiss me and wake me up
in the morning, They don't show any nice documentaries at television
at Saturday mornings and nobody can take me to a new place right now.
However, I'm not disappointed that my twenty-fourth birthday
not will be as the one I dream of. (I can save it until I'll
turn twenty-five instead *giggles*)
grattis

My plans for tomorrow is to wake up and having a nice breakfast,
Go to the gym for a gym class, do some shopping and buy a new
camera (So I can update my blog with both pictures and videos)
Visiting the science fiction exhibition who take place here in Gothenburg
this weekend, maybe take a cup of coffee in town and later have some
dinner together with my mum who's here for visit.
The last two years I've been in London at that time my birthday
comes off, and I'm sure you know how fun I had at last years
trip to England together with Adora?!
We experienced so many fun things together,we were the most
handsome couple at Torture Garden and besides that it came up
a girl to me when we did some shopping in Camden town and
congratulated me at my birthday (She was a subscriber to my
sisters blog, and had seen it was my birthday. Thanks sweetheart!)

This year wish-list looks like:
* Find a lamp with a spirit in who can give me 3 wishes that comes true
* Meet a "superhandsomeandsweet" boy who can be my future boyfriend.
*Win a big amount of money so I can buy my own co-operative apartment.
* Get more than 24 hours each day.

(Okay, I know that this dreams not will come true tomorrow so I'm
giving you my material-list as well)

- A new camera that I can take photos and make some videos with.
- A Jigsaw-doll.
- All stuff with Jack Skellington and Edward Scissorhands.
- Pictures made by the great artist Mark Ryden.
- A black tiara and other hair-accessories.
- A sweater for Ingela to have at winter-time.

Friday thoughts

Friday is like THE best day of the week, don't know why, but my body can feel it - and no, it's not alcohol related!
I have not had a drink since M'era Luna festival in the beginning of August (I think).
-Why is that Adoooora? You got a bit too much, ey?
- Hell no, but I see no reason randomly drinking. I'm super happy sober!! But a sip of wine wouldn't hurt, but...no.
So, flying to London next week with the cutest sister in the world (inside and out), Iva Insane. I'm so looking forward to it - but I'm feeling so stressed. Why, stupid?
I wanna look my best for London, so I need to do something about the hair and I'm thinking about making some dreads so I can have dread falls again (been ages ago),
but I still wanna have my ordinary (boring) hairstyle, just hanging about so I'll probably make dreads that easily removes. I will probably end up looking like a troll, but I'll give it a shot! I will be a cute troll.
What more - jacket? I want to goth one up and make it pretty, pretty, and custum Adora, kind of.
And stupid London weather - all week it's been 24-28 degees Celsius and next week 13-16 degrees. WTF!! I'm not okay with that...

What more to prepare: Gonna bleach and color my hair (still green and silver), print out loads of paper on where to go.
And I have a big poster to make since me and my friend L is entering a contest here at home. We have had like NO time to do it, so we probably will not win. But you at least gotta try! In my head we have already won. Oh yeah!

Sickness!

4 members of the BatBrat family has been submitted to disease.
There is only one survivor in this game - me!
This gives 3 possible forecasts:
  1. In my long life I have already been exposed to this bug and is now immune.
  2. The bug is awaiting it's worst time possible to struck and will enter as I get on that plane to London making my visit not so fun.
  3. I am in fact a real vampire and can't be contaminated by bacterias.
I hope for either number 1 or 3.
Fairlight went first, then TeeBee, then Synthia and my husband almost the same time. There's been fever and puking all around here.
And I was supposed to go on a 3 hour drive to get to a fabric fair with my sweet husband today, but he had a lot of fever and was nauceous and I could have forced him, because he's a good husband and would have been fine with puking in a plastic bag in the car for the next 3 hours to make me happy, but I played the "good-wife" card and hopefully that will give me something good in the end.
I tend to like diamonds ;)

Todays outfit

My hat week continues!

I'm wearing a hat made of designer Ruby Rouge of London. It was a custum made gift <3
Hat is a perfect goth item. Most of us have pretty, pretty well designed hats - but we rarely take them for a stroll. Poor things.
All beautiful and noone to admire them.

When I have newly colored hair I don't want to wear crowns or hats, because I want people to see the perfect result, but as the growth keeps showing, the more I tend to wear stuff in the hair.
Hats are just delightful and covers up a nasty growth so you can wait another two weeks to bleach.
I should bleach every 6'th week, but I always try to wait until 8 weeks have passed by, just to be nice to the hair.
And having an official hat week is just so smart (I'm so smart, I'm so clever), because now many of them comes to use a bit more often than just a few times a year. Whihooo, my hats says!

And yes, I know I should paint my neck as well to avoid this "mime-face", but I don't really give a rats ass. I want to be pale in the face, that's it. I do think people might have an idea about the fact I'm not really that pale anyway, so I have no urge to try and fool them. Otherwise I'd have to cover my whole body in make up since I'm often wearing less clothes.
Lovely fingerless gloves with a heart shaped hole. Swedish E-Bay.
I love heartsy stuff!
What is this for a stupid burlesque pose? I'm goth, God dammit!
