Killing easter

I started to remove the Easter stuff today since Easter is dead already.
Feathers, eggs, chickens, hares and crazy colors all over the place (well, this was the "grownup" tree) is now safe behind a led door so it can't hurt me the same way kryptonite hurts Superman.

I went up early and made vanilla, raspberry, lemon and cinnamon cupcakes (4 batches) for Synthia for the school picnic she had today.
Poor Fairlight caught a fever and TeeBee had his day home today, so I had 2 pretty kids to hug all day long!

Us 3 made a picnic by ourselves at home - on the living room floor. The cupcakes tasted delicious while sitting on the blanket.

TeeBee and the robot

Darling TeeBee was invited to a birthday party to a boy from daycare later today. We made the gift look like a robot. So sweet!

What was in it?

Fairlight's 3:d 7 year birthday party today.
My dad and my bonus mum came for a coffee <3

I made miniature "semlor "(and more).
They are just too cute to look at!

I made them out of cupcake dough, recipe can be found somewhere in my blog (although they should be made out of wheat dough), and added the cardamom to copy the taste of the wheat bun.

Then I cut off the lid, spread "mandelmassa"/almond paste (?) on the bottom, added whipped cream, put on the lid and topped it off with a dash of granulated sugar on top.
Ta-daa!

Todays (panic) make up

You know these days when your husband fails to press the snooze button and shut the alarm off instead...?

These days happened to be THIS day.

2 minutes daycream and foundation.  3 minutes make up. 2 minutes hair, and out the door.

I have done better(and Goth make up in less time), but this is okay.

But there is one reason I don't really mind going out like this; with almost no make up on:

My husband says I look like Kate Blanchett (not sure about the name, but she played Queen Elizabeth)  when I'm without make up - and that makes me so proud! She looks so cool and strong!

I don't look like her according to me, but I welcome the compliment.

Backside: make up will be ruined so I have it to a minimum. Gotta go for the big shades today.

And also I'm forbidden to wear make up for several hours!

And we are going to the water park later - oh, noooo! crap!

Todays make up

Rain outside today. I hate rainy days! Guessing a cool Goth should love the rain, but I'm not that cool...



My toes are freezing and my fingers are almost numb..
At days like these I wish I was a Goth living in Spain...someone please beam me!

My cats

I heard some snoring from the kitchen and found our two lovely cats sleeping together.

I can't tell you enough how much I love cats!

Porsche is a full breed, seal masked Siamese, international champion and a retired "avelshanne" (you know, he fathered a LOT of kittens).

He is so cool and look so Goth with his bat ears!

Prince Vinyl is a domestic cat although his mum was a Siamese and his dad a Holy Birma (Swedish name translated straight off. Is it Birman?).  He looks like a short haired, blue sealed Birma.

Posts disappearing!

I have found out that half of my posts mysterious disappears...

Although I have made at least one update every day - I can't find it later?

Stupid phone blogging. Crap in pants stupid. Wet finger in the ear stupid.

Todays Sunday Goth activity was a lovely Easter dinner at my in-laws.  And I had some coffee dessert with me. Sweet.

Best part is; my smart husband brought plastic boxes with him to put the leftovers in, so now we can enjoy this super nice dinner tomorrow as well!

That's the kind of smart I like <3

Things we discussed during dinner: crazy puke we'd had, diarrhea, crickets in the mouth, ghosts, funny toilet visits, amongst others.

Fairlight's birthday party No I

The lovely Fairlight had her birthday party for the relatives Friday.

Crafting: Vintage chair

Today I've been baking with all 3 kids. I simply put a small spell on them to make cookies. 

So far we've done cake bottom,vanilla horns, ambrosia torte, punch balls and vacuum cleaner cookies.
Why all this baking is occurring?
My little doll Fairlight is turning 7 years (the 11 of April) and will have her " Grownup party" tomorrow.
It will be so nice, and I'm really looking forward to eating all the cookies and her birthday cake.
Also I'm painting on my last found from the charity store.
Just finished white primer so tomorrow I'll be able to paint on the color(?). It will have such a surprise color!

Goth style by H&M

I just bought these lovely dot stockings at H&M.
I tried to make a goth Adora by using things in their webshop since I shop at H&M all of the time, but I was not able to add as many things at the same time as I wanted so it doesn't look at all as my style...only half done...

Todays make up

To get the shape of the "Harley Quinn" look I first painted a cross and then connected the ends and filled the middle black.
I used the Kryolan cake liner and Kryolan CEL sealer and a wolverine aquarelle brush to make it.

I'm soon on my way to the doctor for a "layered" X-ray. Cool!
I'll be in some kind of tube X-ray machine that will make lots of sweet little pictures of my torso, just like a torso book sort of...

Why? What else to do on Blue Monday? I'm doing it for Jesus :)
(okay, it's for a back surgery I'll have later so I will stop pinching some nerves in there causing me great pain from time to time)

Crafting: DIY Glitter plastic animal

I bought a plastic animal, an elephant, at the charity shop last week.

Being a bit inspired by the DIY plastic animal candle holder at The Sweetest Occation I wanted to make a pink elephant, with glitter.

How to:

• plastic animal
• glue
• brush
• acrylic paint (- pink and white)
• glitter (pink)

Clean the animal (I put mine in the dishwasher).
Paint with acrylic paint in the same color as the glitter you will use.
(I painted one coat of white priming before the color, but that's not necessary)
Let dry.
Paint one coat of glue (don't be cheap!) and dip it in glitter/pour it over. Shake off the excess glitter.
DONE! (I also used a very thin layer of hairspray and then shine spray on top).

I will not use my pink elephant as a candle holder, but I plan to make a small hole in the snout so I can make small speech bubbles as table chatter...or put it on cookie plates with info about the cookie.

It will look so cool! Glitter rules!

To make the plastic animal (elephant) goth you could dip it in black glitter instead and add some "blood" at the end of its tusks and make him say things like "-I'm Norman Bates."

I have been making budgets for 2 years ahead and made a super good cheese and ham pie.

It was so good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture before the kids slaughter it...

But I did manage to hide away a slice for tomorrow's lunch.

I just can't wait for it!

The lovely M.A.C. fluidline blacktrack that I use on my waterline have been out for a week, and in my God forsaken town M.A.C. make up can't be bought, but to my luck I could order it to my Kicks store for free! Superb!

So today I could do my make up like usual.

I ordered the fluidline on Kicks webpage and choose to have it delivered directly to my local store with no extra cost, I just payed for the product.
I love a great deal.

Waterproof!

My desktop

I used to have such a cute picture of me as desktop, but then I did something and it disappeared!
Isn't that just strange (doofus Adora, all thumbs..)?
So I just added a tile of a favorite picture of me, when I look as crazy as I feel. You know, for the time beeing, until I did a new desktop picture of <3me<3. Did that ever happen....

But I really like this expression on my face! It's a keeper :)

Me and TeeBee's day at home.

Kind of no make up..thank God for big sunglasses that makes me look like a fly!

I just have to run out and make a quick stop at my dentist since one old filling fell out. Ouch!

And I am ever so happy about the sun and the 14 degrees Celsius that makes me able to wear my orchestra jacket from H&M I bought a couple of years ago, again. I look so smart in it!

Did I leave my clarinet at home?

I did play it for 5 years you know!

Easter nails

When filling our home with feathers, paper eggs and other Happy Easter things I figured I'd better make the toes get involved in the process!


I picked out a few of the most Easter colors I could think about and voila; I got happy toes <3!

Fresh air at last!

I haven't been out and about since I got sick last Saturday.

Today the last man standing - my pretty husband, got sick as well!

Synthia and Fairlight went to school Friday, but me and TeeBee is still sick and today our nurse/slave/feeder could no longer fight back the bacteria and surrendered so I had to step in, healthy or not.

I, with the nauseous sense, had to make dinner for the kids, tuck them in single-handedly (although easy) and feed the cats even though I should probably stay in bed 2 more days myself.

Killing of the last milk at dinner forced me to run down for a couple of liters to survive tomorrows breakfast with the sweet kids.

Hair have not been washed for almost 2 weeks (!) so I had to go for the criminal look with a hoody to hide the green mess...

(I better explain about the 2 weeks... I just wash my hair once a week, most often on Saturdays, and last Saturday I woke up sick so I missed my day and that makes 2 weeks without a hair wash)
